They love to lose mail. They gave my Amazon package to a woman who wasn’t me when I was out of town because they failed to adhere to their own policy of requiring a photo ID.

Everyone knows there are issues with the postal service. We all see the posters showing they are hiring. We all hear the stories from our friends and family about loss packages and mail not being delivered. Well today, I needed to mail 1 ONE small box. Normally I do my USPS needs locally but was out of town and decided to stop at the Carbondale location. First time at this facility and didn't know you needed to grab a number to be waited on. My number was 87 and they were on 66. Yes you read that right! There were people everywhere. All chairs were taken, people standing by counters, doors, walls, even out in the other lobby. They only had 1 (One) mail clerk working so it took forever. This is ridiculous. The clerk was nice though. However I'm going to skip using this location ever again.

every time I have came in this post office, the clerks have approached me with a smile, and are always eager to help me. I greatly appreciate them.

I've been waiting 3 months for a certain package to be manufactured and then it was sent thru the post office. Says it is delivered in my mail slot, it is not. Would not let me pick up my mail myself if the driver was still there this morning, nor would they let me go meet the driver where he was at to get it myself to avoid this EXACT issue. I wasn't asking for SPECIAL SERVICE, I was simply trying to avoid not getting my package. Even Fed Ex would've got it right!

Post a direct number please. Stupid to be on hold for over 20 minutes to corporate office. Went there and waited 45 minutes to tell me my package isn't there even though the missed delivery notice was for this post office.

Friday 07/14/2023 at 6:52 pm I put a package in the out going mail. The tracking number said that the package hasn't been scanned into the USPS system. I know the USPS carrier stole my package that had to go out. I put it in the mail and the tracking hasn't been scanned into the USPS system. They check the out going mail everyday. I know that the USPS carrier got my package. THEY STEAL FROM YOU!!!! DONT EVER TRY TO MAIL A PACKAGE THRU THEM!!!!

Can’t deliver my package claims that there’s no mailbox so they can’t deliever it.First of all, it’s a business and I have a huge sign in the front and that name is on the label. You know.Second, even if I had a mailbox the PACKAGE WOULDN’T FIT IN IT ANYWAY.Third, she says it’s “not their job” to walk packages up to the porch so I can come in now NEXT WEEK since it’s the weekend and get it. Actually honey, that is your job.Horrible horrible horrible

If you can avoid this location, please do. The desk employees are nice, polite, and do what they can but the supervisors are so rude, unpolite, and unhelpful. I have never encountered such horrible service. Paid $30 to have a very important document overnighted. It never reached. Asked for a refund and to have them look into it and it's been a week with no response. When I go in, the supervisor has some lame excuse why they haven't been able to look into it. On top of that, they won't refund me until the package is delivered. What's the point of offering a refund on overnight shipping if it's never delivered and you won't process a refund until it is delivered?!

So I come in this post office all time.. The older black guy that works the front don’t like his own race of people… I recorded him today & he specifically spoke to every white person in front me.. He never greeted Me Once..it’s Not his first time Either.. it’s Pitiful .. I just pray for people like his kind
