Sold me tampered liquor & refused to own up to it or even give me my money back after I called the liquor commissary. Then tafter all of this the owner wanted me band after sending my hard earned money at his overpriced establishment. He needs to no longer be able to own a business in his life.

Way OVERPRICED!!! $13.69 for a pack of cigarettes and pints of liquor $1-2 over the next highest place in town. I'm scared to even look at beer & fifth prices. Snobby attitude on top of it!!!I'm by not poor by any means but it seems to me they feel too good to have poor folks around their "fancy" store.

Utter trash. I get that IL has a higher liquor tax and that it's necessary to mark up harder-to-find bottles. Other stores in Carbondale do it too, and they generally limit shelf availability at any given time, as well as number of daily bottle purchases, to reduce secondary market gouging. That said, it's embarrassing when a retailer -- not a secondary market online seller -- gouges beyond what is ethically appropriate. EH Taylor Small Batch = $180, Blanton's = $275. These are $35-40 and $55-60 bottles, respectively. The owner gives me some sheepish grin, a shrug, and a "these are allocated products" line. Yeah, for you and for every other store in town. For every store in Kentucky, for that matter. Now, I'm sure they sit behind the shelf collecting dust for quite a while, but occasionally some college-aged kid or newbie comes in, sees Blanton's, recalls that it's a "hard to find" product and pays that price, thinking that's how the market works. This place is a shame, and if Carbondale's economy is dying off, let's just say that it wouldn't be anyone's loss if this place closed down first.

My favorite liquor store in Carbondale! U have been here for about 4 years now and i can honestly say the amount of deals this place does is amazing. Every member of staff have been friendly and nice, though the staff seems to changes constantly. But no matter what time of day i go in there i am never disappointed by staff or the amount of deals.
