I give Lowes 0 stars. Customer service is non existent. They will not get another dime of my business. I spent thousands there and would not take back a $30 item unused within the return policy.

I am writing this letter with a laundry list of complaints regarding my most purchase and installation from this company. I'll explain my dilemma from the beginning December 20 of 22. I went into the store number 493 in Carbondale to purchase a gas cooktop I received a detailed, expectation sheet explained with my expectation, should be throughout this process your technician/employees first failed to contact me within two business days to schedule a convenient time to conduct the detail. No one reached out until January 8 of 23 to inform me a technician will come out on January 9 of 2023 to take measurements once the assessment was complete I never received a complete quote for my review. I called the store 493 on January 11 of 2023 and Lowe's had not had no record of the measurement in their system. At this point I have not received one phone call from any of your employees with any updates I spoke with Jessica on January 30 of 2023 for her to instruct me to call the manufacture Samsung and provided the phone number after telling me the cooktop will arrive on January 31 and then got cursed out by Samsung employees for calling a number customers should not have. I called Loris Lowe's store for 93 back on February 1 of 2023 and spoke with Jasmine. Who stated she had no indication that the cooktop had been in fact shit I called back on February 7 of 2023 and spoke with Desiree at the installments dinner and will a store employee who bought them for me that they were still no cooktop delivered , I finally received my first phone call on February 8 of 2023 to schedule the installation if you don't realize my frustration by now I will make sure you do expeditiously with regard to customer service, communication, organization, and professionalism. The store is grossly lacking as a customer spending hard earned money in an establishment I expect a certain level of customer service let alone common courtesy I find a disappointing and disheartening to learn this is how business is handled and how customers are treated there is no reason as a customer. I should have to initiate communication to find out what is going on with a service that has been paid for this is honestly one of the worst experiences I've had when making a purchase, and I'm very displeased. I will be sure to post my experience on Google yelp and any other reviewing outlets I can manage to find as a warning to future customers as to how business is conducted at store number 493 in Carbondale, I hope in the future your store invest more into customer service training because this is unacceptable after finally receiving installation appointment with them with the rep calls the next day to state the technician has scheduled a family emergency on my installation date

It's 2023 and I wanted to write a quick review to note the huge improvements this business has made over the past year. In the past it was a little difficult to find help and now there appear to be people stationed all over the building regularly. They have nice register attendants and usually have everything I need for my projects. If you've gone in the past and had issue with help or something, try them again. They're doing good things.

I have waited over two hours for my flooring that was supposed to be pulled the day before the pro desk attendance were rude and thought it was funny that I've been waiting two hours for some flooring

I ordered & paid on-line for building materials for curbside pickup. Upon arriving at the store and calling in to have my order brought out & loaded, I was told that they have nobody available to do curbside & I would have to do it myself. When I asked for store manager, this person was not in store. And no supervisor would answer their phone. I will shop elsewhere from now on.

This Carbondale Lowe's is an insane asylum of the worst kind. We picked out a front door shown in the store, a salesman told us they did not have it, could not get it, and we could not take home the item on display. That was months ago, we finally settled on a different door from their in-store stock, and a storm door, and paid $69 for them both to be delivered "on Tuesday." They never arrived. Ever. We made 4 more trips to the store, because no one ever answers the phone, and the deliver people would not answer the phone, and on the first trip, the service desk said, "We do not do deliveries anymore." Over the next several trips, when we arranged for someone with a truck to pick up our doors, they said one time "they are out on the truck," on another time "they are not in stock." Finally, someone competent was found in the store, who located the doors, but my husband had to mark them with his name, so that they might be found and loaded when our truck could be arranged to return again. The $69 was refunded. In the past they failed to deliver major appliances when agreed, causing our contractor to have to come back repeatedly for installation. Who is running this madhouse?

when staf sees you in an aisle they actually vanish, the ones that don't it's either "not my deartment' or "let me get someone and more disappearing act! spare yourself,,,,avoid at all costs!!!

I have been waiting an hour for curbside pickup for 2 items. 2 items and it took them an hour to call me and tell me they can't find one of my items. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND they remove this service immediately. This was absolutely ridiculous.

Today was the final straw with Carbondale Lowe's. I placed order online. Received message that order was ready. Arrived at store to find 1 part of order at the service desk. Was told rest was at Pro Desk at other end. I had to walk the 1 part of order down to pro desk, then go out to move my truck to correct door. Go back in and am told they don't know where rest of order is, but I could grab a cart and go pick everything up myself. Then I was asked if I brought someone with me to help load everything because "they don't load vehicles anymore". I walked back to the service desk, returned the entire order then asked for a pair of scissors. I cut my Lowe's card into pieces and handed it to the store manager and walked out for the last time ever. Home Depot had my order ready and waiting for me in the time it took to drive from Carbondale to Marion. 3 guys came out and loaded my truck while I was inside signing off on the order. Ended up saving $127 for same exact order from Home Depot that I originally placed at what I now refer to as "Lows". Thank you Chris and your band of useless staff at the Carbondale Lowe's for forcing me into the right direction of Home Depot!

Feeling sorry for the Lowe's delivery guys. Corporate has changed the way they schedule deliveries and mislead and anger customers. Not a good business plan for the employees and definitely not for the customer. How hard can this process be! No wonder Amazon is eating everyone's lunch.

I will never purchase from this Lowes again. I ordered a garden bed and raised plant bed online. Easy, right? Got the email notification the items were ready to be picked up. I noticed the raised bed looked dirty, as if it had been used and returned. THAT should have been my red flag. It had plastic ties holding a part in. I couldn't see behind the part so asked "where are the legs?". I was assured they were behind the part. I brought the items home, cut the plastic ties, and... one leg. ONE. So not only was it a used return, but after being returned someone thought it was ok to re-stock it without all the legs. I pack it up and bring it back. The CS person, without asking, refunded my card instead of just replacing the item. Sure, ok, I can just repurchase. He sends another worker out for a replacement I can purchase. After 15 minutes of waiting I ask why my bank hasn't notified me of the refund to my account. He informs me it takes 3-5 business days for the refund to be made. At this point I'm done and just leave. THIS is why brick and mortar stores lose to Amazon.

the store a whole is great just quit selling buckets of rat and mice bait. help lobby for rodent protection that does not kill dogs and cats. please help lobby for this change. i just lost my dog over a very avoidable demise. tom cat is just not a product safe no matter what lengths you go to to protect you pets. they need to make changes in both the formula and the flavors. please as a corporation help lobby this issue. you are a great company and care for the customer and products that can harm families, and believe me my dog was family:(
