Half of the dryers were not working. From the looks of the washing machines, this place has been a dump for a while. There was a lot of rust in and around the top loading washing machines. Some of the top loading and front loading washing machines were missing their lids. The detergent placer on top of the front loading washing machines was so crusted with a lot of soap and fabric softener residue, it looked like a thick grayish gunk. As soon as you stepped into the place, it reaked of mildew. I usually don't write negative about a place but this is the exception as their pictures don't do them justice. Not to mention that the white lady attendant got into a stare down with my husband after she heard him speaking Spanish with me. She dropped a comment about that and I turned around and asked her about it and she automatically shut down and said it has nothing to do with us! That is why we could only finish out one load before we searched for another laundromat near us.

The first five or so "triple load" machines in the first aisle have a little label on the selection buttons that says no hot water, fine. But the rest of the machines in that aisle also don't have hot or even warm water and this isn't labeled.

We had a great experience with Laundry World in Carbondale, IL. We were visiting a camp in the area, and needed our laundry done. We were able to leave it with the folks at Laundry World, and we got it back in just a few hours: clean, dry, and folded. We so appreciated the speedy service at Laundry World, and their prices were reasonable as well.

Half the front loading washers were broken and missing doors. The inside was a little dingy. My clothes came out clean and the staff seemed nice.

Did the job that needed done with decent prices. Would have given more stars but there were not enough large load machines working available. When i do my laundry i like to do everything at once bedding and all. I'm a wait till the last minute n do the whole house type of person lol! The lady at the counter was extremely nice and helpful as it was my 1st time here and im new to the area. And for 1st timers like me, entrance is on university. There's another door and its locked so it confused me and i would have left if someone wasnt sitting in front of that door to tell me theres another entrance.

They close at 6pm during the holidays till January 8th.

There is only 1 staff and they are going in and out according to their time than mentioned time on website or the building. I am waiting for over 1 hour to collect back my clothes and they haven't returned yet. There is only one contact number, which is inside the building, kinda pointless for this situation.
