I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Yolanda Blackwell concerning a rather unpleasant situation with my mail hold. She apologized several times for the mistake/confusion and went above and beyond in assisting and assuring me that things would be corrected. She had such a warm caring personality while exuding a professional demeanor as well. I left feeling confident that she was handling my situation and would get a satisfactory outcome...thanks again Yolanda for everything!

I’m new to Calumet City and been experiencing Mail missing I have the inform delivery app and before moving to this place I have always received what was on the app the day it appeared on the app. I caught the mail man drinking Tito‘s vodka on the clock when I called to speak with the postmaster I believe her name was Nicole or Keisha either way completely unprofessional and wouldn’t let me speak with the postmaster. My mail on the app for this Saturday is still not here from Wisconsin . I’m hoping that they find like minded individuals who care about their community and their jobs. There needs to be a drastic change at this Ring st post office starting with Pink slips and real Disciplinary Actions. Not just I will watch for a week or two to see if he’s going to decide to deliver the mail to the mailbox when he feels like it…..

Had a lost package for my baby shower, filed a claim, package arrived 4 days late which was very frustrating. The representative Nicole called and was very empathetic and kind. She apologized for the inconvenience and that was greatly appreciated despite the inconvenience. Thanks Nicole!

They had three people working behind the desk, they greet customers by saying, can I help you....no hi, or hello just very dry....they should not work in this industry.....very unprofessional will not be coming here again??

The customer service is rude for one. Everyone in there looks angry and miserable. And secondly, never go here for your passport. They have an old camera that doesn't take clear photos and they place you in a dark corner with no light to take the photo. I applied for my passport in February. They sent it back and said the photo was blurry. They took my photo again and it was sent back again. I ended up having to go to Walgreens and now it's June and I still don't have my passport. NEVER go to this post office. If another location is close..go there instead.

Lost package & Terrible customer service!After insisting that I simply drop off the package and not wanting to give me a receipt for my pre-paid packages, they ended up losing one of the packages I dropped off. They claim it simply wasn't scanned but it'll still reach it's destination. What's the point of tracking services if they won't be used? My client will now not receive their item because of their mistake. I've lost trust and funds because of their mistake. Their attitude was horrendous when I showed up to find the missing package. I'm not sure who holds USPS offices accountable but this location needs to be audited. Stay away, go to a different office, it's not worth the headache.
