“I had a item to return to JC Penny and I live in a western suburb, on the other side of town . I kept the item in my car to remember to return it. Now I am visiting a southside suburb and I wind up in Calument City and decide to return my item I had in my car for over a month or so! This was my first time at this JC Penny and it was a very busy time in the store while I was there. But 2 of your employees went out of their way, I feel to help me. They were kind and patient with me and I got what I needed and made another purchase while I was there. Talk about first impressions! Thank you Daisy and Darden (I hope his name is correct) You two were the best! Another lady referred me to Daisy but I cannot remember her name; she was very helpful and patient as well. “Nice strip mall. Liquor store, children's shoe store, girls dress shop, hair salon, Dairy Queen, Bar and grill, also a pizza parlor and more in such a small strip mall.. Close to Post Office and Burger king. Summertime there are car shows in parking lot.”

“It has Menards, some smaller stuff like a restaurant and a bank. I miss the Ultra Foods that used to be there. It was in pretty bad shape though I bet it needs a lot of work. I wish they could put something there and fix it up like of an eye sore. Still rating it 4 stores tho I like that particular Menards.”

“Love this location. The fruit is always fresh. The fried chicken at the deli is amazing. Went tonight for a few things and there was a line to the door just for the chicken lol. Great deals all the time on meat. Alot of buy one get one free. Definitely download the app for more savings and coupons. Very friendly workers. Many lanes open which is nice when ur ready to check out.”

“? Shopped Jewel Osco since the early 70's. Quality has always been consistently good. Meats are fresh, produce in good variety, generally can find what you need. The pandemic has affected most stores one way or another. Check the expiration dates on things occasionally bought can goods that should have been removed long ago. I suppose staff that kept up with that pre-pandemic have moved on to other jobs. Prices have increased as they have in all stores so you have to be extremely selective in all your purchases. Happy shopping ?”

“Malls are in decline in general, but we went here and got a blast of nostalgia. You know what this place has? WATER FEATURES! I feel like every mall had water fountains in the 90s. That was part of the whole thing! Now they're all gone. My only regret is that I didn't have a quarter on me to throw in.”
