I had to make a return, that employee was very nice and pleasant. They greeter at the door and the older lady checking my receipt were also very pleasant and caring. However, I have noticed on multiple visits to this location that the samples are mainly given to employees. To the point that the employees know what time the hot foods are ready. I have seen the sample-giving employees save samples for other workers as well. I also saw on my last visit a worker that denied a customer a sample. Said that she was out of samples and the next batch wasn't baked yet. As soon as the customer turned the corner an employee walks up and receives her sample. No way to treat members that way. Most employees are rude to customers. They act as if they are bothered to have customers. Especially in the cafe. They never say hi, or thank you... they will make you wait for your app order if you don't ask for your food. Hope things change soon.

I placed an on-line order on July 18 with delivery to be Thurs. July 20. Here it is Tuesday July 25th and still no order. Trying to call the Club is a joke, no one knows anything. The Club tells me they can't do anything because delivery is with a third-party and gives me a customer service number to call and when I call that number they tell me I have to contact the Club and back & forth. This is not the first time this has happened, but it will definitely be the last!!! I will not be renewing my membership. Caught them in lies. First call I was told that the order is "on its way" then second all the next day, well it was returned to the club due to "damage" third call when we were not able to fill the order due to "shortage" so that says you lied twice because it was never on its way or returned..... and when I check the order tracking it still shows "on its way" will be delivered between 2pm-4pm on Thursday July 20... smh DONE

Dont waste your time on delivery. The staff does not deliver it. 3 times I never got my delivery and they claimed they delivered it. I had to argue to get a refund. The pick up service is bad too. They guy went to the wrong car and gave me a bag of lemons with mold on them. I told him thats my order his response was "she told me" . While making a face and being a jerk. You should go to a different Sams club.

My SUV needed new tires, so, researched for good replacements and discovered that this Sam's club carries the brand that I was looking for. I purchased them and added the additional road hazard insurance for each tire. Well on August 10th 2022, I unexpectantly ran over some debris from what could have been a previous auto accident. As a result, when my workday ended, I drove my car straight to this location to have them fix my tire that had a piece of metal sticking out of it. Okay I arrive and find myself waiting in a very slow line at their auto center area. I finally make it to the front and was quickly told, "sorry we are completely booked for the day". This is not my first time encountering a road hazard and having to utilize the insurance I purchased for the tires. Then the man said, "I don't know what to tell you everyone made an appointment". I then replied, "How was I supposed to make an appointment yesterday if I unexpectantly encountered my road hazard today? The usual response is, "We are busy, but I will try to get your tire repaired quickly between the bigger appointment jobs." I was completely surprised by his attitude and lack of compassion. Okay, people buy this insurance so that they can use it if something unexpectantly should occur to one of the tires they purchased. Correct? Yes, who can afford to take a day off to get a tire repaired. As for the tire shop, they can repair it in a few minutes?!? I was willing to wait for them to fit me in for the repair. I need my car for work. I ended up going to a small shop and having it repaired for $20. In my situation their hazard insurance ended up being worthless. Had I known then I would not have purchased it. Actually, I would not have purchased the tires from them as well. Since we are on the subject of problems at this location. Most employees here seem unhappy and unhelpful. At times there are no carts and you have to go out to the cart carrels yourself to retrieve one?!? Boxes are not collected and placed in one convenient place for shoppers to grab on their way out. I asked the cashier where are the empty boxes located and she said, "We don't do that anymore." The employees need to get over to the Costco on 14th and Ashland to learn on how a very busy bulk buying store operates correctly.

Hanging out with mom and she wanted to stop in and grab paper plates and ocean breeze plug-ins by Glade. Of course, I didn't mind at all. I can always grab a few things that I may need. There was a lady giving out samples of tequila. She would swirl it around with fresh squeezed orange juice. We tried both. Mom preferred the spicy jalapeño and I preferred the orange. We split the box and grabbed the orange juice. After checking out, we headed over to the cafe to grab hotdogs. We were told there were not enough people to work the cafe for it to be open. Wow!

I absolutely love Sam's Club I love all of them sometimes they might not have certain stuff in stock or as many wheelchairs or move bull chances as people need but I absolutely love Sam's Club I honestly couldn't say that anymore than I already do because I have 5KI for kids and I have a deep freezer and I am able to buy enough stuff to last me for a long time

Not only are the employees not the nicest, I switched to pick up orders so I don't have to deal with the people inside. However they do not do a great job at bringing my order out in a timely manner and I literally have to drive in circles for at least 5 minutes to find a pickup parking spot. People park in the reserved spots to go in the store. Worst sams ever. Definitely questioning my membership as this is the only sams nearby. Not sure it's worth the frustration anymore.

Sams club calumet city never has any motorized carts available. The ones they do have are broke or break down with your items in cart. I have been waiting for a cart for over an hour. No one has even come out the store with one. This leaves me to believe there are none available. This is not a senior or handicap accessible business. I got here at 9:45 and it is now 10:27 and m still waiting

This is by the far the WORST sams club in and near the city . Thee employees are so rude, unprofessional, and very ignorant. When you ask them a simple question like where can I find x y and z they either ignore you or give you a vague response ,"it's two rolls down " . Once you head to refrigerated section I found not 1 but 5 expired products . When approaching another employee trying to be a Good Samaritan and handing them the products . SHE told ME to take them up front ! EXCUSE ME !!! I do not work here to take them up front ! Once I asked to speak to a manager I was left waiting for 30 minutes and at that point I just decided to leave my grocery cart filled of goods and left the premises. IF I CAN GIVE THIS PLACE (( 0 )) stars I would ! You are better off going to Walmart across the street .

Placed an order on Thursday went today to pick up and was told by the manager they would not have my order because it wasn't made. The order was handled very unprofessional. I ordered 30 count cupcakes for our party. The manager was very unprofessional and explained there was nothing she could do for me and call corporate if I wanted to complain. They canceled my order an hr before I was suppose to pick up. I wished they would have informed me that morning so I could have made other arrangements.

I tried Walmart pickup - it was awful! Employees were rude! I was hesitant and tried Sams hoping I was not going to get similar experience. Well, I am a FAN of Sams in Cal City! They are awesome! Employees are super friendly! Pickup is fast and organized, never wait more than 5 minutes. Thank you Sams! My faith has been restored!

Went to this Sam's Club off of Torrence Ave in Calumet City. I thought the facility opened at 8am only to find out that it opened at 8am for "first responders". This term is an oxymoron. Anyone working outside the home is a first responder. Not just police, fire fighters, nurses or doctors. By the way, the opening time has changed from 8am to 9am now to 10am (on Sunday). These confusing opening times, are a source of the problem. Ownership is to blame, not Management. Myself and several other patrons were refused entry. Five to six people went in between 8am and 10am. This was a complete waste of resources. Five to six customers on the inside while ten to twelve patrons waiting outside. Quite a few people left altogether. A long line formed because of this unnecessary "policy". Approximately thirty people or more. As the time got closer to 10am a few people walked up, straight from their cars, to ask personnel what the procedure was for entering the building. An employee told one gentleman "There is no line, when we open you all can just walk up". A few of us at the front of the line were stunned! Why would an employee make such a statement? Here we are standing in line, descent and in order, and then an employee tells a few people just to walk up, when the doors open! Where is the Manager? Why would any one promote a stampede of customers to rush the door? Sam's Club Ownership is to blame, once again. The "two hours" that people stood around waiting, could and should have been, two hours of customers coming and going, without delay and frustration. Sam's Club Ownership is to blame here as well. These problems are caused by Ownership. Your narrow view of "the customer" is unprofessional, callous, and frankly, disrespectful. Your staff is a reflection of your ownership. It is woefully lacking. Sam's Club and Wal Mart are monopolies, and this is what happens when companies become "too big too fail". If I am not mistaken these two entities were allow to remain operational while other businesses were forced to close during the initial Covid 19 outbreak. Companies selling the same type of products and services were not allow to make a profit just because they weren't huge conglomerates like Sam's Club or Wal Mart. Instead of showing appreciation of customers loyalty Sam's Club and Wal Mart have showed nothing but contempt and disregard for customer. This is unacceptable and should not and will not be, (at lest by me) tolerated. I would remind every customer to remember how you are treated at these stores. Spend your hard earned money in different establishments. That way No One Company will ever take you for granted! Show them, through your buying power, that they should be thankful for the business that you bring to them and not that you should be grateful for the honor of shopping at their stores" We are the customers. We have the last and final say on quality merchandise, and customer service.
