Why is it when you call home depot they don't answer the phone? It don't make sense to have a phone there if no one isn't going to answer, I know you all get busy but come on all the time

I come in the store almost everyday as I am an Electrical contractor I was buying lights and usually I pre to use the regular check out line but this store never has any open so we were forced to use the dumb self check out and ofcourse so dumb lil girl accused us of stealing askin about a receipt that I'm not showing her had some lady running out to find out of course we did indeed pay for everything the customer service is horrible the cashier or whatever you call them are just plain ignorant and rude spoke to the so call manager for nothing who blew the situation off it's always problems at this location and we as a contracting group and company will not be returning we spend way too much money in home depot for that kind of treatment.

Very unorganized. Staff needs to be trained and managers need to take more accountability. Ordered doors in September and they are still not installed. Wrong size arrived and Home Depot never corrected the situation. Stay away from the Calumet City location! Horrible customer service!

Curt was amazing! He helped me pick out double French doors and was extremely patient with me. He worked with me for over an hour to ensure the doors were perfect for what I needed. He went above and beyond! Coming to Home Depot can be stressful for someone that does not typically do home renovations, but Curt took all of the stress away and sat down with me to answer all of my questions. I’m so appreciate of the help and he has such a warm spirit! Thank you so so so much!

My issue is not with Home Depot. It's with the warranty they sold me when I purchased an Lg refrigerator from them 09/2022. On 01/11/2024 the refrigerator stopped running. I calling warranty department and was told that a technician would be out the next day. When that didn't happen I called again and was told that a technician was not available. Now it's five days later and still I'm waiting for a technician. So I'm just in limbo with spoiled food and no where to store my perishables. Never will a buy another Lg appliance or their useless warranty! Sandra Ball

We were actually misled into driving all the way there for a product that was advertised as "in stock" and was not there when we got there. As a matter of fact, an employee told me the product had not been sold there in a very long time. Please keep track of inventory better.

Worst service, don't even bother for assistance because they leave you waiting for a long time. Only one forklift operator. It's big mess noting is organized. If you need a flat bed they're on a side where the doors are closed. Very inconvenient store prefer Menards even though The Home Depot is closer.

If I could give this store and company 0 stars I would! I made an online purchase for wood! Ordered to many and had to return 10! That was September 18 I believe! Home Depot picked up the wood. But never processed my return! After several calls and text with customer service promising me it would be three to five days! Never occurred I’m still waiting on it 30 days and counting later! All I got was a sorry and 3 to 5 more business days! RIDICULOUS! They finally gave me the delivery fee back and no money for the actual wood! Several call and text later still no money has been returned back! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING! Never again! They have lost a loyal customer! Seeing that I’ve spent Thousands there over the years! They’ll NEVER! See another red cent from me! I Absolutely Hate this Company now! They give Zero ($&@) about their customers! Customer service is seriously lacking all the way up to the owners! Yes I said it!! Deplorable!

My check engine light came on so I went to see if I could get a diagnostic test done. The store manager was the one assisting me and he was very helpful.

Cashiers and the stores lost prevention guy really need training or common sense, they profile certain groups, lost prevention. Stands at the registers looking at people like they are stealing , it makes it very uncomfortable to shop there, one of the cashiers walked up to me while I was scanning my items saying "stop , I dont think you scanned everything " with no real facts , I truly believe they profile people there.The store manager was very polite and apologized for "the wording " they used, I ended up spending close to 900 dollars in tools I needed .These types of workers are a liability to home depot
