This branch has no problem turning away customers. Upon making a sale online on a popular app Offer Up I was given a Chase Check for furniture sold however the check turned out to be fraudulent and was returned my account was closed and all funds were frozen for days. Upon speaking to Andrea briefly she told me my account was permanently closed and even though I was a good customer for over 10 years without any issue ever Chase would not even open me a new account after the fraud. So Chase fraud punished me for someone else's fraud. I provided proof of all of the Offer up communication etc however she did not even take time to look at it or properly investigate with the fraud department. So if chase is this quick to turn on a customer I think it's best to bank someplace else. If you have Chase or are considering Chase look elsewhere because fraud at this bank punished the customer and literally said I was no longer welcome as a customer.

ATMs are ALWAYS out of order. Forget about trying to make a deposit at through their ATM. And you're lucky if you can even get cash. I never encounter this problem in Orland or other affluent suburbs. This branch is trash, just like Calumet City.

Now I deal with this bank on literally a daily basis. Though the lines are long the staff treats me great. I deal with the staff inside the bank for the most part and at this point I would recommend anyone to bank here. People complain about how busy they are but WHAT CHASE ISN'T BUSY? Seriously! I can appreciate the staff being of different races and the respect that they give all genders, sexual orientation, race-etc. Most importantly this bank honors military and veterans. This helps me because I too fall in this category.

I AM OUTRAGED at the service level at Chase Bank branches in minority communities. Why can't someone make a CASH deposit in my checking account? Are you inferring I conduct an illegal business? Oh, I forgot, I need to inconvenience myself by going to downtown Chicago or to a Chase branch in a more affluent neighborhood to deposit cash. Account will be closed. And I will be encouraging my children to close their accounts as well.
