I have been getting meat through their CSA program for the past 3 months. Everything has been super easy, email communication has been on point and the meat is fantastic. Supporting small, local organic, sustainable/regenerative farms is important. My experience so far: this is a great farm to work with to achieve that. Some of the best cuts of meat I have ever had and their honey tastes like butter. Delicious. Quality>quantity.

Background: Husband has been a chef for 20+ years. Both Cajun. Both grew up in and around NOLA.Holy Best-Meat-Ever! We are new to town so I was checking out the Farmers Market. We bought a few things; all were amazing.I happened to mention the farmers market today, and my hubs made a specific request for the lamb breakfast sausage. It’s great for everything!I’ll start sharing some of our recipes. Last time, I think we used it in meatballs.If I could give 10 stars, I would. See you guys soon!

We bought a NY strip from the Evanston farmers market and when we got home we realized it was only 5.5 oz of steak for $28 or about $80 a lb! Just far too expensive imo….

Their stand at Lincoln park farmers market is amazing. The breakfast sandwich with sausage and veggies with cherry bomb hot sauce is probably one of the top bfast sandwiches I've ever had!

Avoid avoid avoid. Communicating with this farm is like pulling teeth. I placed an order 4/30/22 and provided them my desired cuts. On 6/3:22 I received an email with an invoice stating “Apologies on my delayed response! I just checked in with the team and it will be two weeks to shipping. We also have an extra fee of $50 for shipping such a large order. Unfortunately our website only collects a flat rate!”

The turkey was outstanding. This was our first purchase from Mint Creek Farms and we will be trying other items from there store.We also used the-recipe we found on there website, our turkey turned out perfectly. It was cooked to perfection. Moist, juicy, tender and delicious! This was our first fresh not frozen bird and now we are spoiled. Nothing compares to this.What's even better is it's a local farm that has very high standards of raising and slaughtering the animals.This farm should be given 10 stars. Looking forward to trying some other meats and fresh eggs.

I am SUPER DISAPPOINTED with the customer service from Mint Creek Farms and Patchwork Farms. The CSA is PRICEY and I expected excellence. The eggs are FANTASTIC - but, you can buy them at farmers markets for the same price. The meat is frozen and hit and miss. Lamb neck bones? For the price - that's kind of insulting. The produce seems to be what they need to get rid of and it quickly spoils. I have been to an event at Mint Creek and it is a well-run humane farm. The people are nice. Their is simply NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Imperfect Produce dies a MUCH better job. Go to Mint Creek for the dinner and tour. Buy the scrumptious eggs at Farmers Markets. Skip the over-priced CSA. It seems like it's an after-thought to move surplus product and not worth the cost.
