I purchased a dress which is final sale- it broke the time I wore it. Within 2 hours at a wedding. We had to sew it up given I didn't bring another dress. Anyhow, fast forward I brought it in 3 days later to explain the issue. Worker said she had to contact owner as she was unsure of what to do- totally fine. Owner reached out and said dresses are final. My problem is obviously it was defective and any dress I would expect would last longer than 2 hours. She also reached back out and said to bring it to seamstress. Which is not an option given all material has been compromised. In addition, she reached out to vendor and they said nothing they can do because it's wear and tear. So she said I should reach out to them. I would give a 0 star if possible Absolutely unbelievable. She suggested I did something in the dress- I was sitting at a dinner? And then commented that I'm making a big deal out of a $300 purchase... Im absolutely appalled by her customer service and not working with me and having an option even the possibility of another dress as obvious as it is that this particular dress is defective, a refund, or even a credit- NOTHING. I would understand had I just wore dress and tried to return but I would not expect any apparel to not work after 2 hours this particular dress had a zip that broke. I would not recommend her store to anyone based on putting product out there that doesn't withhold at least an event and how she is talking and working with her customers.

I bought a dress for my daughter at Lepa Boutique. The owner was working that day, and I shared that I was buying the dress for my daughter’s senior photos hoping it would work. The owner never shared that all dresses are final sale and non-returnable. When the dress didn’t fit, I took it back to return, but the owner wasn’t working. The woman filling in for her didn’t know how to do returns, so she told me to come back the following week and I could get store credit. I returned the next week, and the employee working texted the owner, and I was told no returns allowed since it was a dress. I feel this is an unusual/unique return policy (all dresses final sale) that should have been disclosed when I was purchasing the dress, especially since I explained it was for my daughter and hoping it fit. Or at least offer store credit!RESPONSE TO OWNER:I understand the policy, but I think it should be disclosed VERBALLY when the customer is checking out—especially when the customer shared with the OWNER that she was purchasing for her daughter, not for herself. Had I known the policy, I would not have purchased the dress, as there was the risk it wouldn’t fit (which it didn’t which is why I was returning). If it is a unique return policy, only having it on the receipt which is only seen AFTER a customer has already purchased the item is not helpful/logical. It is too bad, because I really do like some of the lines you carry and would have been a repeat customer!

Lepa Boutique always gives me the best experience! Sonja the owner goes above and beyond for her clients. She has two locations, Hinsdale and Geneva. If ever I want something from the other store she has it brought over! If I can’t make it in she ships it to me!! She has the most personable staff with the best energy. If there’s any local business to support it’s hers!
