Used to go there years ago and loved it! ❤️It was a great place to go for an excellent meal, great drink at their very nice bar and just a special night out. Tried it Wednesday on Valentines Day under the new ownership. 6:30 reservation. Got there at 6:00 for a drink at the bar before dinner. Two people at the bar. Was told our table was ready so we were directed right to our table. More empty tables than patrons. On Valentine’s Day! That was a red flag. DRINKS… asked for a 7 and 7. OUT of Seagrams 7. ? So I had an Old Fashion. It was tiny and all bitters. Our friends asked for a Heineken and a Stella. OUT of both. Then asked for a Corona. OUT of Corona. ? ended up with a Miller lite and Coors lite. On Valentines Day! FOOD…Salad bar was basic and very disappointing. Broccoli cheddar soup. Yeah my favorite!! ?There was absolutely NO broccoli in the soup! Like they just forgot to add thebroccoli. It was literally runny cheese sauce. Didn’t eat it. ? Walleye was just Ok. Chicken dish was just Ok. Loaded baked potato was huge but not hot as the stick of butter stuck on top of it was hard. Wouldn’t melt. Server was just ok. No water or bread refills offered. It is overpriced and we were so dissatisfied with our experience. We don’t mind paying more for a quality meal, good drinks and a great experience. Looking back I wish we would’ve spoke to the Manager or Owner. Sad to say we won’t be back. We were so looking forward to a nice Valentine’s Dinner out.

This place was unexpectedly closed... The google listing shows 4-8 on Sundays, but it was dark and both doors were locked. Their website shows they are supposed to be open, but no hours listed on either door.

We went there for prime rib. They were out of the prime rib they were out of the trio medallions they were out of the pork chops. I ordered the scallops and they were out of that so they replaced it with bacon wrapped shrimp, and then they had no thousand island dressing on the day that we went. Then they gave my husband my steak and me his and then they said they’d give us the shrimp for free but it still showed up on the bill. He brought it to there attention!

An old style Wisconsin supper club vibe - great steaks, fantastic service, parking no problem. No reservations are available but no worries, it has the best coolest old bar to hang out in that I’ve ever seen from 1909, I’m told. Only 20 minutes from Geneva and I was surprised. Enjoy!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely as the owners all have young kiddos tooWheelchair accessibility: Yes well accessible

We made reservations 4 days prior and when we arrived, they had zero record of our reservation. We then waited 20 min for a table (with little kiddos.) They were out of prime rib & ribeye by 6:30pm on a Sunday. They didn’t have a wine menu so when I asked if I could have one, the server handed me his hand held ordering device to look at the options, which didn’t have prices. I have zero clue what wine was even served to me. The salad bar was completely empty. Soup & salad come with our entree & we missed out on that (but paid for it.) I ordered my steak medium well & it came completely burnt; as did my Mom’s (she ordered it medium.) It was a $40 steak with no sides or vegetables. No water refills, no bread refills. Also had to ask for steak knives. My Mom sat at the end of our table, in the breezeway and one of the waiters shouted “DUCK, we are coming through” and barely made it by without hitting her head with the food tray. One of the waitresses treated our waiter extremely rudely & we even made a comment to him that we recognized he was doing his best, we knew he was new at this and to not let her push him around. She even chimed into our family conversation we were having. It was so uncomfortable. We used to go frequent this restaurant monthly when it was under previous owners and our new experience was so disappointing.

We try to visit once a month and have tried many items on the menu. We have never had a bad meal and would highly recommend a visit.
