It's like any other supermarket. There are all things to use. Including food. Open from 6 a.m. to midnight. There are automatic machines for buying lottery tickets as well as automatic machines for renting videos. Copy the key as well.

I called the pharmacy and spoke with Paris. I requested to have my medication sent in the mail, which I always do, and she began getting rude and raising her voice while giving me a hard time stating I didn't need to call to have it shipped? I call every time. She was very unprofessional and is not fit to be in front of customers.

Cashier by the name of Linda is the rudest person and shouldn't be in front with any customer. She charged me twice for an item and when I mentioned it she had the nerve to say "yeah I know I'm looking at it too" great and while you're at it adjust your attitude.

I had encountered an online order mishap that Vanessa corrected. She overturned my thoughts about online ordering instantly after efficiently correcting the issue and most importantly, her pleasantness and professionalism is something you hardly come across nowadays!

Expired dates on dairy and bakery items. Some yogurts and milks 30 days past expiration. "Big Guy" behind the bakery counter wears his covid mask on his chin. Produce is borderline rotten; bananas and lettuce turn brown before you get them to your car. The fish dept smells like a fish tank that hasn't been cleaned for a month.

06/14/21 My sister & I went to Jewel in Buffalo Grove to get some ribs on sale for $1.99/lb for an upcoming BBque. The woman at the front desk was very helpful helping us navigate the E version of the Jewel AP to be able to get this price (5 stars). After that it went downhill. We went to the back to purchase the ribs. The kid working the meat counter was talking to his friend & developed an attitude because we interrupted him. Excuse me sorry we didn't mean to interrupt your personal conversation @ work. I guess we should have come back after you were done talking to your friends. He looked annoyed was combative telling us we couldn't get 2 slabs. I mean like WTF was his problem? When I mentioned that I didn't like his attitude he said in a snotty tone to talk to his manager Pierre. I don't feel like we did anything to justify his attitude except to ask him to do his job & help us with our rib order.

I've got mixed thoughts about this place. I've been going to this place my entire life, but I just don't feel there''s anything special. It's no different from any other Jewel in the area. Its always been a great place to shop for food and beverage. I cannot comment on their salad and chicken wing buffet, deli, and meat counters because I seldom need them. The bakery does a decent job, especially with their french bread. The cookies are also very good, as are with most locations. The star I dropped is because I feel I end up having to go down the street to Walmart to find a few things that Jewel either didn't carry or ran out of. The other thing I wanted to mention is in regards to the "cookie credit card" thing. I don't know if it still exists. Basically, each child could pick up one of the cards at the bakery and each time they go shopping, they could bring it to the bakery and show it to receive 1 free cookie. This is something my sister and I used to do when we were younger. There was this one time that they had a sudden change in policy where a child had to have an adult present to get a cookie. I was unware of this and the next time my sister and I went up to the counter, the baker at the counter got in our faces and sternly said we couldn't have a cookie unless a parent was their to confirm allergies. I understand that safety is important, but I feel that the lady could have been nicer about it. As we quickly walked away, my sister burst into tears, and needless to say, we never went back for our cookie. That last part shouldn't reflect the on store today as I don't believe they do it anymore. I just wanted to put it out their in case they try to bring it back.
