Do not use this shop for your car service. They recently ripped me of by charging me $234.99 for battery replacement as they served as AAA member roadside assistance provider. Specifically, my car's recently replaced battery, which was replaced by AAA service provider 12 month ago, was dead again on 2/14/24. We called AAA, and this shop sent a technician and replaced the battery and charged us $234.99 without checking how long the battery has been in service and if it's covered by AAA battery discount policy.I would suggest to call AAA to dq their AAA service provider qualification if you have the similar experience.

Thank you to Earl this morning. My car wouldn't start. He checked the battery which was completely dead. It was very cold and the wind was blowing. He charged and check my battery which had 1 bad cell. He replaced my battery and I was able to get to work this morning. Thank you, Earl! ?

From the initial phone call for help to finish, everyone I spoke with was very nice, helpful and understanding. Also from start to finish, the timing was great, just shy of 40 minutes. Pricing was better than I thought it would be. I will be saving this company for any future needs!

I hopped in the car this morning and it wouldn't start which set off a feeling inside me that today was off to a bad start. I called AAA and put in a request for assistance. While I waited, I called my normal service place and was told that they could probably get it to it today. I know how long it takes to change a battery and was not impressed by their response. I called two other place and got the same non answer about how long it would take to get a new battery.When Excell arrived, all I was expecting was a jump. When the gentleman asked if I wanted to replace my battery, that he could do it then and now; I was in. The thought of waiting around all day for a complete service department to change my battery and depending on others to shuttle me around for what should take 5-10 minutes was already making my blood boil pressure rise. Instead of having to deal with that nonsense, Excell replaced the battery then and there, no muss no fuss. My day that I thought was heading downhill fast, was saved. I'm very glad that AAA sent Excell my way, the arrived and took care of everything in under an hour from when I called. I'd definitely recommend Excell Road Service!

My battery died today so I called AAA. Rob from Excell came within minutes, installed a new battery, and was quickly finished. Amazingly fast and efficient service! Rob's the best!!

I used AAA to get a jump service. This company dispatched a driver that had awful communication and customer service skills. When I was asked to fill out a survey on the experience I gave my honest assessment of what my experience with the technician was like. Within one hour the owner of the business called to argue and berate my survey response. As if he was only concerned about the poor rating and not my poor experience. For an owner to act like a literal child in response to customer service survey and call and argue with the customer about their feedback is the absolute wrong way to do business.

A little pricey but very quick and friendly service for a replacement battery. The whole process took only 40 minutes from the time I called, was blown away at how efficient they were!

During this epidemic I've very rarely used my car and for the past two months I hadn't used it at all. On Sunday, December 6, it wouldn't start. I called AAA and was prepared for a long wait for service. Instead of that, a truck from Excell Road Service in Buffalo Grove arrived within 15 minutes of my call. The mechanic, Nick, could not have been nicer. In addition to a dead and unrechargeable battery, an animal(s) had torn the insulation from the hood and tightly packed in all around the motor. Nick cleaned this out and checked for damage. He installed a new battery and was on his way within an hour of my call. I'm so glad I renewed my AAA membership and was fortunate enough to have Nick from Excell Road Service come to my rescue.

Called AAA to get my battery replaced. Will was dispatched within minutes of hanging up with AAA. He informed me of his super fast ETA and got to work right away. Extremely efficient and fantastic customer service. Bad news is it wasn't just my battery. Good news, Will was happy to run a quick diagnostic and help point me in the right direction. I will absolutely be a patron here based on my hassel free and friendly experience. Thanks Will!!

We had a car that had been sitting unused for quite a while and needed a jump. The driver was pleasant and helpful. Our concern was his frequent insistence that our (nearly new) battery was basically dead and probably wouldn't hold a charge. But of course, he just happened to have a new battery on his truck that he could install on the spot for just $135. When I declined to buy his battery, once I was out of earshot, he twice tried to persuade my wife to buy it, without telling her that I'd already said "no thanks." We got our original batter tested later, and found that it worked just fine. I don't appreciate trying to up-sell equipment that doesn't need replacing, just to make a few extra bucks.
