We recently moved to the area and heard great things about the facility. I primarily lap swim, so it was important to find a facility with good availability. While the commercial chains in the area look nicer and have better marketing, their rates were also 2-3x what Buffalo Grove Fitness Center charges.Highlights:- Facility is expansive and has an indoor track (1 lap = 1/12th of a mile), indoor lap pool (5 lanes total), and plenty of space for equipment and classes.- Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful in giving me a tour.- Free 1-week free trial and they actually issued the membership photo card, even though it was for the free trial. If you decide to buy a membership, you can keep using the card.- The mobile app is pretty impressive for a public facility, and allows you to reserve lap swim times and other group classes covered under your membership. Also allows you to add your membership card to Apple Wallet making it easier to check-in.- Towel service included; showers have shampoo, conditioner, body wash.- Steam room in locker rooms; co-ed sauna out on the pool deck. While the monthly membership fee is a bit more than what I was paying at a previous swim-only facility, you do get the benefits of a full-service gym.Looking forward to supporting this local facility!

I change my rating from 5 to 1 . The club gave its positions . The Hall flooded students ( was a promotion )No discipline . Occupies training, and sit in phones on the floor of an hour like a zombie degenerates ! It became more noisy ( club liked because of its silence ) and dirty ( because of young age many so and not understand that mommy will not always clean for son )He closed the subscription and went to another club .Also in this club acts crazy rule , it says if you want to close the subscription and after returning during the year, you will be fined for $ 100 !!! It's a dictatorship.!!! ( in fact, it is an ultimatum )I also noticed that the staff at the reception became more coarse ( couple) and communicate with you as if you and them drank vodka at the same table .

Clean, modern facility. Great pool, all the latest workout equipment. Love the staff, helpful but no one pushing for expensive personal training sessions.

$15 for a day pass. They have a 2nd floor track, a pool, some free weights, weight machines, treadmills, and cycles. They do not have a turf, though. They have a lot more that I didn't see.Nice place, helpful people, good place to stop for a quick workout.Side bar: the majority of the free weights and machines seem slightly dated. They work well, but they are older.

It has happened ! A miracle !Finally a great hall . Pleasant and polite staff ( explained everything , showed , helped at all stages )The club is very clean ( and I have changed three clubs , there is something to compare it with )Excellent swimming pool (all standards are met, which allows you to swim comfortably and with pleasure). Excellent sauna , excellent hammam . EXCELLENT SERVICE !Thanks to all the management and staff who create andmaintain their image and service .P.S :Yes , the price is above average . But , this service is worth the money . I went to clubs where subscriptions cost $ 25-50 a month , I don 't want any more . To whom it is expensive , he can go to a place where it is always dirty , where almost everything does not work , a dubious contingent goes ( things disappear )Rude and arrogant staff .

Very overpriced for what you get, and a limited guest policy ensures you practically can never bring out of town family with you if anyone visits you more than once per year. The weight equipment itself is uncomfortable, unmaintained, and lacking in diversity. Often times all it takes is a single person lolligagging on their phone to hog up a station to ruin an entire workout and there's a serious lack of dumbbells in the actual popular range of 20-70 pounds.Pool is clean but you can't just go workout "willy nilly whenever you want" (actual quote from staff), but have to reserve ahead. Mind you that gyms are exactly for working out. Even though lanes are first come first serve and the pool has never once been full in my 3x/week for the past year swims. If you wake up and decide you want to get a good start to your day, or change up the daily workout, or do water stretches to get rid of some pain that showed from the previous day's work, you better deal with that on your own ahead of when you need to deal with it.

For a park district fitness center they charge a lot.... close to 70 dollars for residents when wheeling charges 30 or 35 for non residents. Also it is very crowded and the equipments and contraptions are just old. Besides the staff misbehaves and yells at residents who pay to workout at the gym...... Especially at the colored residents.

It's a mediocre gym. The price is absurd though even if you live in district. The price of the gym also includes classes but I know I'm never going to use the classes. Even with classes this is one of the most expensive gyms in the area. It's actually cheaper to sign up for the Wheeling or any other municipality gym as an out of resident than to sign up for here as in resident. The month to month price is $80 each month. Their cancellation policy is also excessively predatory for a government entity. If you cancel you can't sign back up for another year unless you want to pay their fine which if I recall was something like $120 fine. Their policy also is kind of crazy too because it states they can take away your membership without a refund? So if you did pay $900 for an entire year and you get kicked out within the first month your out of it. They also will only auto renew your membership you can't have them not renew at the end which again is also extremely predatory especially for a government entity. The membership also doesn't include unlimited guest privileges. You can only bring a guest in twice a month. The facility itself is also absurdly limited with all the wrong equipment. They lack free weight or cable machines instead they opt to have these faddish machines I've never seen anyone ever use.I'm probably not going to renew my membership will most likely go to a commercial gym like Xsport or Wheeling Park District gym which as an out of resident member which is cheaper than being a BG gym member as in residence.
