This is the most honest shop I’ve ever been to. The mechanics are super honest and don’t try to oversell stuff that other shops tell you to buy. I highly recommend this place, I’ve gotten services from brakes to engine repairs and they are amazing. The latest services dealt with 105k mile service and I am very happy with it the outcome!!!!

I was met with a friendly greeting as I walked in. The price I was quoted for a service my car needed was the most realistic price compared to other quotes I had received. I will return to BGAC if my car needs repairs.

The customer service here is fantastic! Every time I bring my car in I get a reasonable price for the repairs and sound advice. Instead of trying to “sell” me on repairs they gave it to me straight that they would recommend trading the car in and were 100% correct. Then during my process of buying a new car they gave advice and even offered to look at any cars I was interested in purchasing.
Highly highly recommend!

I have been a client of BG Auto for many years, and I would highly recommend their services for many reasons; they are extremely honest (if the diagnosis states a certain part that might be covered under dealership warranty, they will tell you, etc.), reliable, very flexible with appointments, or if you call in "last minute," they will get you in, explain everything in details, fairly priced, and overall great quality service! Please don't hesitate to take your car in and Brian and Matt are awesome!

Quick and reasonable repair of a tire with a nail in it. Pleasant experience including: a comfortable waiting area, pleasant receptionist, and a mechanic who kept me informed. Very appreciative of the excellent service! Thank you.

Great experience. Went there recently to get an oil change/tire rotation/rear wiper replacement for my one year old vehicle and they were very honest and told me my next big maintenance won't be until around 30k miles. Very impressed and they work fast. Will be doing my regular maintenance and repairs there.- Ray

When I first moved here, I was told this was the place to take your car to. Then, I brought up my Wife's Ford Edge for an oil change. We were told one of the barrings was loose on the wheel and needed to be changed. My father in law, who is a mechanic, asked to keep the piece so we could see it. The part was NOT broken and should not have been replaced. We gave it one more chance when my wife noticed something up with her air conditioning to which they shared the whole air conditioning unit needed to be replaced and it would be thousands. We took it over to my father in law, who confirmed they had BROKEN a piece in the unit that should NEVER be broken unless someone destroys it, and they caused the whole unit to still need to be replaced. They did this so they could buy the car from us, fix it, and sell it for a higher price to make money for themselves. It figures because when we picked up the car, the guy at the counter said "so have you thought about what you are going to do with the car? Are you going to sell it?"Moral of the story: they will help you when it's something lower key and convenient to them. They will do anything possible to make money off of you, and then be very dishonest to the point where they wreck your car to cause bigger issues. Since this happened twice, we are DONE and NEVER coming back. We also took this to a second mechanic who told us the same thing about the situation.Honestly, this place should be investigated for shady business practices. Just horrible, and I will NEVER return. Don't take your cars here unless you have a mechanic you know who can give you a second opinion.

I'm a new customer to Buffalo Grove Auto Center after an emergency break down left me in need of quick, competent diagnosis of the problem and speedy repairs. My car was towed in and the response of BG Auto Center exceeded all my expectations. The problem was quickly diagnosed, explained, and options were given. The repairs were made faster than expected, and the final costs were fair.I'll be going back next week to get a new set of tires. They've earned my business.

Terrible service l stopped in few days ago bc my tire pressure light turned on 5 minutes later my car was brought back to me saying it’s all done light off when I specifically asked for my tires to be checked the next morning the light came back on. I called the shop just to speak to the most disrespectful receptionist who send me somewhere else after telling me she doesn’t want me to waste my time. Really is that how you try to bring service to the job that pays your salary. Turns out I had a nail in my tire after I took it to Midas & it was actually checked Moral of the story don’t go there last year I was told that I needed so many things done to my car (lies) when really nothing that was supposed to be done. The owner is kind of rude too not a ppl person I will never go there knowing now that are mechanics are actually lazy who knows if they actually work on your cars STAY AWAY
