I've lived in a lot of different places and used a lot of different post offices. So far, the Brookport Post Office staff have been some of the best, most helpful and friendly USPS postal employees I've worked with.

They will steal your stuff. Just don’t order anything, we’ve had 5 packages go missing from the office themselves and a couple from the post man. It’s somebody that works there we’re pretty sure, just be safe and go buy your items in person

If I could give them less than a 1 star rating, I would.

Refused to deliver my properly addressed mail to a proper post address because I neighbor at a different address said I do not live here.Cost me all kinds of money, all my bills are late, just retired and everything dealing with that did not arrive, just made my life hell.People in the office are at best rude

Puts the wrong mail in the mail box at least once a week, won’t deliver packages to our house, if they don’t fit in the mail box they get taken to the post office. Employees in the post office act like you are the biggest inconvenience because you are there to pick up your packages. Always very rude to customers. Two times we’ve had packages with medication lost, post office tells us to call the company and they cant do anything about it. They deserve 0 stars.

The lady working there is super sweet! I would order packages and when it was time for them to deliver, they would always put "held for pick up at carrier location." Happened 5 or 6 times. Could not figure out why they did that every time because I (nor my dogs) never even heard a knock on the door. Was getting super frustrated so I called and talked to a super sweet woman. She asked if I had a "no trespassing" sign or "beware of dogs" sign. Sure enough I have a "beware of dogs" sign. She explained that the delivery guy could actually loose his job if he got bit by a dog so it's almost mandatory that they don't risk it. She was overly nice about it and was even willing to drive to my house on her lunch break to give me my package! Luckily we worked it out and was able to come to an agreement on how to safely deliver future packages. Did not expect to have a humbling experience today ♥️

They have refused packages with medication in them and sent back to them pharmacy that a family member needs. Just this week I got an email from a company saying the post office couldn't deliver my package no reason was given why. If it had not been for the email I would not have known where my package was at. When I called the post office about it I was told that the paper they leave sticks to other mail. I said there was NOTHING left telling me an attempt was made (someone is always home and no reason it should not have been left). To which i was told they had a sub this last week. Still no excuse just laziness

They will mark your packages out for delivery and then the mailman will decide he doesnt want to run that day. So you'll spend all day waiting for a package the guy is too lazy to deliver.

If it was possible to give 5 negative Stars to the Saturday mail carrier, I would do so. I had a package listed as delivered today, and which I needed TODAY, that was not delivered. And then they said there's "no access", what ever that means, when my mailbox is out there plain as day. I don't know if they mean that they couldn't find my address, but I'm the only blasted house on the road, so I don't know how that's possible. Our brand new large rural size mailbox, which would have had plenty of room to put the package in, is exactly where the Brookport postmaster told me to install the box prior to our moving into this house. The Saturday carrier at least, is worthless.
