“We had a small gathering here at the gallery for an event unrelated to the usual art happenings in the gallery. This is space that serves for community and creativity. The exhibitions are vibrant. The gallery staff and art itself engage the patrons at every event.”

“Came to area for my husband birthday. He loves old, classic, hot rods so I planned this outing for him. When we walked in we were greeted very well & got a good explanation of everything. This is a huge place that everyone can enjoy. It is 2 stories but there are several bathrooms which was a plus. All the vehicles were great & we enjoyed reading all the histories of each. This museum is much more than the cars. It is a fun nostalgic atmosphere to be in. Even got to meet & talk to owner in elevator. Recommend highly.”

“I haven't visited this park in over five years. We hiked for two hours. My friend Andrea led the hike. It was very peaceful and clean. They even have a black- owned smoothie bar at the entrance of the stairs. I will definitely visit again.”

“If you need to get out the house and work elsewhere this is the place to go!! Their drinks are strong and tasty and they have seasonal drinks as well! What I was surprised about was that they also have a cocktail menu, because it's 5'o'clock somewhere right?! My son really liked their frozen hot chocolate and wants to go back for more! “We had our wedding there on 01.26.2024 at 07:00 PM. The event was phenomenal, and the staff were amazing. We were so stressed about the wedding, and we had many happy and sad moments. Jose and his team supported us in getting our cake, decorating the place (picking out our colors), and having everyone set up accordingly (our vendors included).The staff was amazing, and the setup was awesome! Payments were smooth and very streamlined, and we liked the reminders because they kept us on track to ensure we had everything paid off before the event. The food was delicious, and both our families were happy about the food. We had sweets brought out after the food and that was awesome. The venue was very clean, and the place was organized.The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful with the drinks and for those that were too intoxicated during our wedding, the bartenders were quick to cut them off and offer water instead. The servers were professional, and everyone was kind and friendly! Thank you so much for helping us with our wedding! We were happy that you could share this moment with us!”

“We got married there in May 2024 and our wedding turned out beautifully! We had a Polish-American wedding and Magda helped us throughout the process and we really appreciated her help and feedback. During the reception, the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! Wedding planning is stressful and working with a venue that is on the ball and always responsive helped ease my stress! I highly recommend!”

“We visited here as it was on the Frank Lloyd Wright map, and although he wasn't the architect, we were still interested to see the work of one of his contemporaries. We were greeted by Theresa, who took us on a tour of the whole house which lasted around an hour and a half. Theresa was so lovely and it was an absolute pleasure to meet and be guided by her. She was so knowledgeable about the house and the families who had lived there, and my partner and I walked away feeling like we had learned so much. The house itself is full of surprises and interesting quirks, and Theresa did a brilliant job of bringing it to life for us. We absolutely loved our time there, but also feel sad that a house of such historical importance isn't receiving the funding needed to fully restore it. I really recommend taking this tour, as not only will you enjoy learning about this amazing house, you will also be helping to preserve its place in history.”

My only ask is they try to be a bit more welcoming and to brush off those hospitality skills a bit. Thank you for providing a venue close to the stadium for afterparties, it saved us a lot of time and money from having to Uber into the city each night.”

“I attended an event at this establishment and it was nice and roomy. The restroom was clean and there was plenty of room in the hall for 50 or more people. The staff were nice and very helpful, too.”
“I attended a special event at the Mansion with Geoffrey Baer for WTTW. The place is very cool. Some of the rooms have been restored to their original furnishings and some are bare. The library, chapel, and hidden staircase are highlights of the mansion. The weather was not good for outdoor activities on the day of my visit, but the grounds are nice and would make a great place for a walk on a nice day.”

“Sokol is so cool. I was a member of Sokol Tabor when I was a kid. My mother in law has always been in Sokol her whole life. My kids will be entering tumbling tots come registration period. It's a family fitness gym, activities include: competetive volleyball, gymnastics, calisthenics, dance and more. I camped at Sokol camp as a youth in upstate New York. You make life long friends, memories and connections through this amazing orginization. Czech it out ;)”
