I boarded my two furbabies for the week of Christmas and scheduled a grooming appointment with Kelsey. The staff at Frisky Dog were able to accommodate giving my almost 14 year old ear drops and meds daily. Love this place and the staff. My dogs always crash for an entire day after pick up, which gives me a small break. ? I have several trips planned this year and plan on boarding them each time. Thank you Ross, Sheryl, Laura, and Candace for taking great care of my little ones. Also, love the grooming job on both, done by Kelsey.

Our dog goes to Frisky Dog a couple times a week. We love Ross and Cheryl and all the employees that work there. They treat our dog like their own. When Rex knows he is going there he gets so excited. Everyone is very friendly and loves dogs.

We love Frisky Dog! We've been customers since Willow was a puppy and she gets sooo excited to go there. She's at daycare twice a week and we've boarded her there many times over the years. The facilities are clean, the play areas are large and the huge outdoor area is the main reason we came here (after having our last dog at an indoor-only place). Willow especially loves the pools they put out in the warmer months! Ross and his staff are rockstars...they are always kind, courteous, professional and accommodating. We've never had an issue with anyone there in the 7 years we've been going. You can tell they love what they do. And most importantly, they all love Willow as if she were their own!

My pups are regulars here and it's always been a positive experience. Ross, Cheryl, and the rest of the staff are kind and seem to really care about their customers - those with fur and those without!

Customer service was not great at all . I called and asked several questions and the guy who answered was not welcoming at all .It seems he wanted to rush so quick off the phone . I was looking forward to your facility despite low stars but I just thought it would be different . I needed 5 days a week for my girl but I would not want to leave my dog with someone who isn’t welcoming at all. He is the voice and image of your company and did a poor job . I now will be doing business with another company named Dog topia who made me feel calm and very welcoming when asking questions.

Just letting everyone know I didn’t even step foot in the place. After reading some reviews, I’m assuming the man I spoke to was one of the co-owner’s, who already has a 1 star review for his awful behavior with customers.Just called and tried to set up an appointment for grooming and a “meeting” for doggy daycare. Immediately, he was rude. But it was the beginning of the conversation so I wrote it off; it’s early, maybe a tough start to the morning? After being told that they didn’t have any openings for grooming, I inquired about doggy daycare.I had mentioned to the man at the beginning of the conversation that I adopted my dog recently. He didn’t care to ask when, how old the dog was, what breed, temperament with other dogs, temperament with children, etc. All he cared was that I’ve had my 6mo Border Collie/Corgi mix for 1 month and 1 week. Not a long enough time, clearly. He said if the dog is adopted, they suggest waiting 3 months before trying doggy daycare. I totally understand and appreciate to precaution but when I tried to give more background information about why I’m choosing doggy daycare for my dog now (she’s a social puppy who’s shown no signs of distress for the past three weeks. Only thing she wants more of is exercise…. Which I was trying to help with ??♀️) He did not care to listen, instead he became short and rude with me.And the thing is, I only ever want what is best for my pup. I’ve had 6 throughout my life. I think what made me so upset is that when I told him I didn’t like how he was speaking to me, he said it sounds like I don’t want to hear about how to keep my dog safe and healthy. Wrong- in fact, that’s all I want to do. And I thought that was what I was doing by inquiring your business. When a business owner starts throwing insults… lol okay I will take my business elsewhere! And it sucks because if my dog enjoyed her time, I was ready to purchase the 20-day plan. Oh wellI’ve worked in customer service since I was 15 and now am co-owner of a business in DT La Grange. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s have a good attitude and be nice to customers. They’re supporting yourbusiness. Now I’ll be looking foranother place but with a note to self…*HAVE A RESPECTFUL AND NICE BUSINESS OWNER*

We always have had positive experiences with this business for several years. We have used their services for day care, grooming, and boarding. Our last boarding experience was certainly review worthy. We had boarded our dogs for five days, due to my wife having a fairly major surgery. As fate would have it, our youngest dog, Angus, decided to have a medical emergency the first day of boarding. The owner and staff reached out to us right away. They were very understanding of our lack of availably to handle the situation at hand. They arranged emergency medical treatment for our dog and kept us updated the entire time. We simply could not have asked for better handling of this situation.I cannot say enough about Ross and his staff. A sincere thank you to everyone helping our boy Angus, especially Abby for providing the status updates, sometimes by voicemail when we were not available. We feel that they truly do care about our dogs, but also have the ability to handle difficult situations with competency.Thank You All!

I heard they were great. Called to check the prices for a full groom and teeth cleaning for an 11 pound senior toy poodle. $70-$80 is kinda steep. Guess I’m continue to look.

We waited on the waitlist 6 months before getting a spot for an interview, which is fine. After the interview, they told us our dog did okay, but that he was mouthy when being grabbed by the collar. I took him back again yesterday, and again they told us the same thing. That he doesn’t like being grabbed by the collar, he likes to play rough and was riling up the other dogs, he’s stressed, etc. I felt as though I was being lectured about my dog. However, in the 6 months we waited to be accepted, he was going to another daycare 1-2x a week. Never have they said anything poor about my dog’s behavior, just that my dog looooves to play. My dog has never gotten mouthy with me when I grab him by the collar. I am wondering why my dog’s collar is loosened. Because why are you grabbing my dog that way? I would think the leash that we leave you with would help if you need to “grab” my dog. On top of that, my dog came home looking sad. Then, we noticed he was limping. Today, he doesn’t want to play or go outside, which is not like him at all. Great location, but unfortunately feel uncomfortable leaving my dog there and will be going back to our old daycare!

Our pup Sadie absolutely LOVES her time at Frisky Dog! Sadie is always well taken care of and treated with love. The facilities are top notch and offer plenty of open space (both indoors & out). We also appreciate the warm welcome and quick response to our requests. The excellent grooming services are an added convenience!

I have been a loyal customer to Frisky Dog grooming facility for just over 11 years and I have been very satisfied with their customer service, care and all of their groomers... until now.I have a new cocker Spaniel so of course I figured I would continue as one of Frisky Dog's local customers...Only this time...when I picked my dog up she was noticeably different from when I dropped her off. She was extremely lethargic and the whites of her eyes were red. She was certainly not her active, cheery self. Never have I seen her in this state. We came home and she slowly made her way to her dish and attempted to drink a little water. I notice she seemed to be in distress, unable to drink and was making a strange whimpering/wheezing noise, like she was having trouble swallowing and possibly breathing. Upon petting her, I discovered a bandana tied tightly around her neck. It was so taunt, I could not get even one finger under it. I had to cut it off. The part of the bandana (around the neck) measured 9 inches. I took her collar off and it measured 13 inches.I felt this needed to be brought to the management of Frisky Dog. Had I have not noticed the bandana, she may have endured permanent damage or worse. I met with the co-owner and the groomer (who immediately began recording the meeting on her cell phone. Never did she request my consent). The co-owner immediately became VERY belligerent, loud and dramatic in his actions, denying - not listening - not letting me complete a sentence. (all the while, customers were coming in and out).He continued throwing and wailing his arms all over aggressively as he paced and shouting inappropriately at me. He denied any wrong doing. After his other employees stepped in and finally calmed him down, he unwillingly made a very animated and mocking apology, making it clear he was NOT sincere. I requested l my money back. He printed it out and threw it at me. He told me I am not allowed to set foot in Frisky Dog again. I approached the situation calmly, I didn't really get to say anything other than the bandana was far too tight on my dogs throat, and he immediately berated me for expressing my concern. My conclusion is: the manager (co-owner) was extremely unprofessional, very rude, and highly dramatic. He turned the meeting into a vulgar and disrespectful fiasco. He was out of control and out of line.I called the other co-owner of Frisky Dog she told me, I hit a sore spot when I made a statement regarding valid concern for my dog. I felt he has no regard for the safety of their customer's animals nor the respect for their paying clients.

Good place for dog daycare/playcare, haven't bordered yet. Excellent yard space and amenities for the pups, good oversight, supervision and admission policies in place and properly enforced. Reasonably and fairly priced, acceptable website.
