Raj is a very honest person. He took his time and talk to me about my plan with my car and my plan in the next couple of years. He understands what I was trying to accomplish. He was able to help me out with my car problems at a reasonable price.

Mr. Raj is very intelligent mechanic and wonderful human being! The most important thing is he is very honest with you about your car services! He won't suggest unnecessary services if your car doesn't need one, which is the most important thing we need from our mechanic! I only recommend him for any services you need regarding your vehicle!

I've had a muffler replaced and an oil change here, very impressed. The owner is very personable and won't push unnecessary repairs. He helped find information on a DIY project I planned on doing on my car. Will be back.

Had to change my mufflers for my Subaru forester. The parts were ordered and were installed the following day. Efficient, great customer service, and competitive prices. I will definitely go back there again for car issues.

Had to get my brakes replaced and Raj helped me out in one afternoon under short notice! He saw that I didn't have my new IL plate posted in the front and did it for me free of charge! So grateful for his kindness and expertise!

Our skid plate came off on a curb and we happened to pass by this place right after. They were about to close, but very kindly helped us anyway. Raj and Miguel were able to temporarily fix the skid plate and order parts to fix it completely. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We will definitely be back--this is the kind of business we want to support.

Raj is the man. I had a cracked flex pipe and Raj took it in same day and did it for a fraction of the price other shops would charge. Such a friendly place to do business with. I had such a great experience I got my steering shaft done here as well. Thank you Raj!

My experience with Raj and team was exceptional. Raj was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was able to take a look at my car almost immediately after I called in the late afternoon. He diagnosed the issue and had the issue fixed in extremely quickly. The cost of the work was extremely affordable especially for the complicated issue I was facing.I will absolutely go back to Raj and team if I have any future issues with any of my vehicles.

Raj has always been fair and timely. He will call around to get the best price on parts (he even fabricated a muffler for me when the manufacturer wanted 700 for an oem part, saving me hundreds of dollars) and finishes the work in the time promised.

I had the BEST and most pleasant experience at Brookfield Muffler & Brakes.My 2011 Pilot was making some really loud noises so I took it in to the dealer. They couldn’t take care of it. The catalytic converter was rusted and there was a big gap that needed to be welded. Instead of replacing the whole thing for $3-4,000 they recommended I go to Fair Muffler and Brake. They were really busy and could probably not get to look at my car until tomorrow.So I googled and found this place. The Yelp reviews were great and so I called. They said, come in right now and we can fit you in. It’s literally a two person operation. Raj, the owner has been there since 1998. His daughter lives in Brookfield. He looked at the pic the dealer provided and showed me a diagram of what would be involved and he gave me an estimate of $2-300. And he would do it today. He dropped me off at home and worked on my car. A couple of hours later, he’s back at my house to pick me up and my car is all taken care of.He does a bit of everything, body work, windshields, everything. I am not going back to the dealer ever again!!If you’re looking for an honest inexpensive mechanic, he is your man.
