“I have been going to the Lizzadro Museum for many years, but this was my first time to the new location. The site is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the new layout and displays immensely. So many breathtaking things to see! I was very interested in the information about the specific fossils & minerals to find in Illinois. I appreciated the features that made some of the displays and information more accessible to children. I was there with 2 young boys, and they enjoyed it a lot and can't wait to return... especially to the gift shop & all the treasures to take home! ;)”
“A group of friends did a mosaic class last Wednesday evening at Nathalie Studio. The owner and her husband guided us all through our projects for a three hour class. We had a ball and ended up with a fun mosaic to bring home. They also teach stained class, reverse paining and so many other disciplines which we may do at a later date. Thank you Nathalie and Uri!”

1502 Home Ave, Berwyn“I have taken Sandy Dawson’s (Sam) art classes for adults for a few years and participated in several workshops.Sam is a wonderful teacher and has worked with all ages, from preschool through adult. She naturally cultivates a warm, supportive learning environment. The students who have specific interests build upon their skills and learn new techniques as they improve. Other students experiment with different media. They begin to develop their strengths and preferences. No one is ever discouraged from trying something “new.”Sam’s comments are never criticisms. They are suggestions, instructional tools and explorations of strategies meant to inspire.”

131 W 1st St, Elmhurst“I really love this store, I’ve walked past it many times and always see beautiful pieces in the window which rotate frequently. The owner is so sweet and everything is reasonably priced. I finally went in and purchased an item. I will absolutely be back! Another note is that the store changes by the season. When I went there were lots of cute fall items available like pumpkins and fall towels.”
“I taught at Terra for 20+ years. (I moved to northern Michigan in '21). My former students have kept me up to date about how the studio has improved since changing ownership. Really outstanding. This has always been a great place to take a pottery class, find community, and get outstanding instruction. You've always wanted to learn to throw on the wheel, right,? Take a class!”
“One of my Favorite stores to purchase body oils/creams, artifacts, art, black soap, symbolic jewelry as well as materials to create your own meaningful jewelry. *Black owned”
“I'm so grateful to the wonderful people at the Frame Warehouse Oak Park! I had a few pieces of geometric artwork that I wanted to hang horizontally instead of vertically. They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to give me excellent service. After their services, my gallery wall came out exactly how I envisioned it <3”
“It's Ramadan so I won't give them a negative review but I called both stores to see about if something was in stock, first it took forever to get her someone to answer the phone and once they did it was like they couldn't be bothered to check for me or let me know if something is coming back in.”
“Who knew picking frames could be so fun! We have had several pieces of art framed here and could not be more happy. Always respecting our budget and taking time to know us personally. True service and quality! Also my kids love their candy jar!”
“Oak Park Art League is taking it to the next level! The new executive director, staff and board are creating experiences, classes, workshops and events that are high quality. Sunday figure drawing has returned with three hour sessions and info about the models online when you register. They alternate male and female models every week.”
“We had a small gathering here at the gallery for an event unrelated to the usual art happenings in the gallery. This is space that serves for community and creativity. The exhibitions are vibrant. The gallery staff and art itself engage the patrons at every event.”
