This is a great neighborhood hardware store with an amazing inventory. I especially like their line of Jonathan Green lawn products which I have found to give much better results than Scott’s. Love this place!

My first time here and will definitely be my LAST. My dad and I (2 african American guys) came in today to get a key made, at around 12 noon. The guy, who was the only guy there, who was at the register and made our key was EXTREMELY unwelcoming. The SOB barely wanted to speak to or deal with us. He gave off a cold vibe and felt like we were bothering him. He's definitely a racist guy and will NOT ever step foot back there ever again. Racism runs all in this place.

Happened into this True Value just to get some light bulbs for the kitchen fan. Just to give you an idea, the fan in my kitchen looks like it could have hung in the kitchen on the Fresh Prince or the Golden Girls. That's pertinent because the bulbs were really specific and vintage looking. I ended up being helped by Jason, the owner of the hardware store. He was extremely knowledgeable and even pointed out that I had the wrong ol' lady bulbs in my hand for the ceiling fan. We traded a little small talk after that and then his equally helpful wife helped me ring up my purchase.I really just wandered in here wanting to avoid going to Home Depot. I appreciated the opportunity to support this small business and meet/connect with its owners. I surely intend on going back whenever I need more hardware stuff for my home.

The store looks so good now and the new owners are amazing. A definite recommend. They have hard to find items that the older homes in the community need and they offer to order you items if they don't have it. They fixed a screen for me and made me a brand new matching one for way less than buying a new one. I'm bringing in my windows next as soon as it gets a bit warmer outside.

Honestly, this is the best local hardware store I've ever been to. Prices are great, service and repair are top notch and everyone that works there is delightful. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied and will absolutely be a return customer.
