Don't go here!
Over the years, my family members have donated to New To You. Accordingly, I thought to donate some gently used furniture. I checked the list posted on the back of the store, and also called the store to verify that they would accept a futon and a futon mattress. The person I spoke with verified that they do, and gave me a name (Margie) and number to call to schedule pick-up of the items. I called the number which had a voice-mail giving instructions to text a list of the items you want to donate. I did that. A day later I received a text message requesting photos of the items. I sent those. I received another text message requesting more photos of the futon uncovered, as I have covered it to keep dust off of it while it sat in the garage. I sent VARIOUS photos of the futon uncovered, in both the upright and flat positions. A day later I had to initiate contact requesting a "yes" or no" from Margie. Around 11PM that night, I received a text message stating that New To You does not take the items I'm seeking to donate. If Margie knew this when I initially reached, why did she request photos in the first place?! Because I happened to be in the general area, I drove by to review the list of items that are NOT ACCEPTED posted on the back of the store. Futon and futon mattress ARE NOT on that list. Additionally, I circled the block, looked in the display window, and what is on display this week... a futon for sale! Margie or whomever was responding to text messages on her behalf l, is both untruthful and less than forthcoming. My conclusion is that said individual had a bad attitude due to me instructing them to get back to me and not leave me hanging. Whatever the reason, said behavior is unfair, unprofessional, and less than Christian behavior by an employee/volunteer working at a faith-based establishment. I've decided to give the futon to another organization who will respect my time and appreciate my donation.
Based on my experience, I suggest that people donate to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or any establishment OTHER THAN New To You! I Corinthians 14:40 instructs us to "Let all things be done decently and in order". And, Margie of New To You failed to do this in her interactions with me. Consequently, this establishment is not worthy of anyone's patronage. You only get one chance to make a first impression. I have added Margie to my prayer list, and I will not do business with New To You again.

I have been here many many times and every time I walk out empty handed. It’s always a disappointment.

Very comfortable shop, nice staff, nice looking furniture and clothing. Plenty of knickknacks and dishes, etc. Pretty light on baby and toddler clothes, but very good prices!

It is one of the second ones that has things organized, very friendly, I like to go there to buy second-hand things, the only bad thing is that they only open a few days?, but everything else is perfect, even the prices.

Great resale shop. Really well organized, near, clean and displayed. I'll be going back frequently. Even the books are organized, so the Captain Underpants books aren't mixed in with cooking or adult fiction. A joy to shop here!

Popular resale store. There are a lot of housewares and many sets of china. The furniture is usually very nice and the prices are reasonable.

How can you possibly stay in business or generate any revenue for your beneficiaries by being open to the public from 10-4 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You might as well just close.

You can find some high quality items here. I bought a couple of name brand baby items. If I would have gone to target, I would have easily spent $200+. I spent only $42. I purchased a halo sleeper sack, a Fisher Price play/kick mat, a Fisher Price, bouncy chair, and a portable sleeper. I purchased some other items too, but still, only $42.They have some really cool finds for other areas too. Name brand clothes. You can get lucky and find stuff with tags on it.
