About Jubilee College State Park
Jubilee College State Historic Site preserves a remnant of the school founded in 1839 by Philander Chase (1775-1852), the first Episcopal Bishop of Illinois. The college is closed to the public but the grounds are lovely and there are several sites to picnic.
Love this park - it’s come a long way . They are actively managing their prairie & natural areas . Removal of invasive species needs to take priority. Great hiking spot & multi use

Nice camping site. Rock pad with many sites very sunny. Bath house needs to be updated.
