If you value your hair and your money, avoid this salon. They charged me $100 for a blowout with curls because of my long hair. The stylists used excessively high heat on my hair and didn't do the curls as I wanted. Additionally, my sister requested a specific hairstyle, but the stylist did something entirely different. They overprice while their stylists lack proper skills.

I have been coming to Mary to get my haircut for years and always have such a pleasant experience. She truly is a whiz with scissors!! Really shocked to see some of these negative reviews as this woman has more experience in her left thumb than most other hairdressers days.

Dropped my daughter off there because they don’t allow men into there salon thought there are laws against that but these people do what they want advertised that they do hair extensions but told my daughter they don’t do those they only have black brown and blond hair dye not actual colors this a salon for Muslim culture they will turn you away if your not Arab don’t only advertise for your own people or put on the sign next to no men aloud no white kids aloud are service are not for you !

I would not recommend her at all for highlights. I chose a color from the pictures she showed on her page, and the result was very shameful. All over my head, there were spots of highlights. My skin was burned and I felt sensitive to the dye that I applied. In addition to the color, it was not what I wanted at all. I asked for blonde.
Light and the result is an orange color
Very bad experience ?
In addition to that, she agreed with me on a specific amount before starting the work, and upon completion, she raised the amount and requested a much larger amount

Please, please, please avoid this salon at all costs! I went to Mary’s Salon for the first time with my older sister and we had a terrible experience. It wasn’t very busy. There was one other person besides my sister and I. Although there are 4-5 workers, only one can cut hair. My older sister wanted to dye her hair red but Mary said that it wouldn’t suit her and that it would fade quickly. I’m not sure it’s her job to make my sisters decisions..Instead of giving her the hair she wanted she gave her blonde highlights?! Then I showed her a beautiful reference photo of a girl with long layers and long curtain bangs. I specifically told Mary not to cut too much off the ends and bangs yet she proceeded to do the complete opposite. She claims she knows what she’s doing. The entire salon reeked. It smelled like cigarettes. I waited a good hour sitting in the seat after getting my hair washed for Mary to come. She sits in the back most of the time. I left the salon with a terrible haircut. 1 star.Service: Haircut

Beware! My visit to this hairdresser on July 5, 2023, was an absolute disaster. I had the misfortune of encountering a hairstylist named Mary, who showed complete disregard for my preferences. Despite showing her a photo for reference, she gave me a completely different haircut without a hint of apology or concern. To make matters worse, my short hair couldn't be styled as I desired, and there was no effort made to find an alternative solution.But that's not all. The salon itself was a nightmare. As soon as I stepped inside, the overwhelming stench of cigarettes hit me. It was clear that Mary was a heavy smoker, and the entire place reeked of it. The unhygienic state of the combs and scissors only added to my disgust. They were visibly dirty, and I couldn't help but question the cleanliness of their overall practices.To top it off, the shop was an absolute mess. Stray hairs were scattered everywhere, making it evident that cleanliness was not a priority. The employees displayed a rude and apathetic attitude, completely oblivious to the disrespect they showed me as a customer.Save yourself the hassle and frustration. I strongly urge you to avoid this place at all costs. The lack of professionalism, disregard for customer preferences, unhygienic conditions, and overall rudeness make it a hairdresser that I simply cannot recommend to anyone. Spare yourself the disappointment and find a salon where you'll be treated with respect and receive the service you deserve.

I went to Mary's because it showed up as near the restaurant I wanted to get take-out from. They let me know I could come as a walk-in in just half an hour. They were able to deal with super long hair--NOT an easy task!--and were generous and kind with the time they spent on my massive head of hair. EVERYONE was so kind--the lady who washed and deep-conditioned my hair, the lady who comed it out, and Mary, who cut it--AND it was such a nice experience to be in a space OWNED by a woman AND occupied all by women.Thank you, Mary and your staff. My hair is SO soft and feels SO healthy, and as much as I hoped to trim less from it, Mary and her co-workers were right that, to be healthy, it needed a LITTLE more trimmed off. The prices were excellent, my experience was excellent, and my outcome was excellent. Thank you so much!I would recommend Mary's Salon to ANYONE (then go across the street for a bit of Kenafa!).Services: Haircut

Mary is the best and her staff are amazing! She always gives her clients what they want! I have been going to Mary for over 20 years, wonderful cuts, color, blowouts, and styles! Can't say enough good things about Mary's salon!
