Second time i have used them. First time they removed paint splashes on car without ruining my car finish. Second time shampooed interior of my car to remove smell and stains from incontinent passengers. Very satisfied with the job.

I am absolutely speechless after my experience today with Dustin Leathers and Shinemasters. I have been taking my vehicles and company's/family's there since they opened and thought very highly of them and referred many people. That was until I attempted to redeem a gift certificate that I purchased to have my wife's car detailed from the owner when I told him what kind of car she had. At 2:30 on the day that we had scheduled the detail Shinemasters called and said that the gift certificate wouldn't cover the job under their new rates and I owed another $45 in addition to the $150 that I already paid. After a phone call to the owner at his new business, (Premier Truck Accessories), we agreed on a $25 difference after I expressed my dissatisfaction for not honoring the price that I already paid and I told him that I would not be back again with any of my vehicles. When I went to pick up the car, the first time I visited the shop at 4:15, the car wasn't ready and I was told to come back at 5:00, then at 5 the employee sweeping the shop said that Dustin had called after I spoke to him and said the additional charge was $45, not the $25 that we agreed to over the phone. So I called the police, Dustin arrived, and the officer after a few times back and forth asked me if I would be willing to pay $25, (which I agreed to to get it over with). I then moved the car to another location and was brought back to Shinemasters, (thank you Bradley PD!) to get my other vehicle. Wow!!!! Is all I have to say… this is quite the customer loyalty program… I wish them well and take away a lesson in customer service. I am not sure what I did or said but Dustin sure seemed to go well above and beyond to lose a loyal customer. Being a local business owner, I truly appreciate the opportunity to support local business and labor, but it saddens me to see what has become of Shinemasters. There are certainly better businesses to patronize and the quality of the work is certainly not what it was when Dustin took pride in his business.
