I purchase of 6 containers from Al (Alan) at Havener Enterprises, Inc aka PortableStorageBox.com aka Michigan Ave Storage in June 2018. The description in there email was six containers one year old, new and unused. I got the first three containers picked up from Bradley, Illinois. I opened up the first container and the whole half of the right side door's paint had separated from the metal flapping in the wind. Al said he would get a new door to me. After countless excuses April 2019 still no replacement door. I also have a whole half of a roof that the paint has separated to bare metal that blew off the container. The container that I had first problems with the door separating also has the same issue on the roof where water is in between the paint and the metal and will do the same thing soon. Less than 9 months of use on every one of these containers I have rust running down the containers where the paint has split. Then ends up popping away from the metal rusting behind and then the paint flakes off. The floor frame is really bad paint bubbling and flaking to bare metal. I got an email April 8th 2019 from Al "I hope to have something for you today or tomorrow at the latest. thanks!" Al. I haven't heard from him since today's date is 4-12-19. Al responded 04-12-19 first then On 4/25/2019 5:35 PM, Al wrote: Hello Aaron, We will get something in writing. The roofs have already shipped from China and the doors are being manufactured and about to be shipped. We will send the full door in frame and let you determine if you want to just replace the door panels or entire door while you're replacing the roof. Timing looks to be arrival in Chicago for the doors around 5/25 - we will prep it immediately for shipping. The roofs will be here before then and we will combine the shipment to you. I am guessing it will deliver to you on a flatbed but am unsure as we have not seen all the packaging. Thanks, Al White 07/19/19 Still no replacement roofs and doors.

I've had a storage unit at this establishment for years now. The price is very reasonable and because the unit it pod storage it has the great feature of being portable. I've had my unit stocked up with many things and when I moved I paid a low fee to have the unit delivered to my new house which was extremely helpful. Saved me a few loads of moving and a lot of time so I definitely appreciate that. The customer service is really good too, never had any issues at all.

Great indoor boat storage...good rates and very efficient staff. Been using them 7 years, not a problem.

Been a customer for aprox 10 yrs and they are the most friendly and helpful people I've met. The storage units are also the safest and cleanest I've ever used. Prices are great on any size unit. You can't go wrong when renting from Michigan!
