I am very disappointed with the door that we were sold. I own a business and the parking lot is in the rear of the building. I contacted Kankakee glass to replace the old door with a "front" door. Ed came out and told me I needed a door with a push bar. I did show him that the front door opens in instead of out and I did tell him that the back door would be our primary door for people to enter in through.Well, the door is terrible. The wind creates a tunnel through our store and if there is even a slight breeze the door opens on its own. Twice now, the wind has taken the door and caused it to get "stuck" in the open position. The first time it happened the closer on the top of the door broke.They have been semi responsive to my needs and have sent the crew back a few times to "tweak" the door, but nothing has helped. I have begged them to put a handle on the door instead of a push bar. They have told me it can't be done.I could cry over the money that was spent on this door. I cannot afford to replace it yet again from another company. It's not functional, and it's just a matter of time until it completely breaks because the wind is taking it. I don't know what to do at this time. Feeling very distraught....I would not recommend this company.

I got a quality product, but had to wait more than a month to get it. I also did not get the most straightforward communication about when it would be ready. So if you are in a rush, it is not the way to go. However, the employees were very apologetic and delivered it to my house when it didn't fit into my car well, free of change, which redeemed them a little in my books.

I was pleased with the work that Kankakee Glass did installing my new shower door. In the office, Sheyl was good to work with and on the job Charlie and Cody were friendly, and attentive to their work. They also did a nice job cleaning up afterwards.

Very bad place to buy glass. They don't communicate effectively, they tell you two weeks and it's always over a month.Lady who runs the place is rude and likes to get into political spats with customers. I would not recommend this place at al

Kankakee Glass has been my go-to for the glass needed for framing art and photography for almost 20 years. They have consistently provided kind and friendly customer service and the orders are completed in a timely manner. Great place; great people!

When one windshield place says you can't get it done there, come here and they'll be sure to get it done and make it your money's worth. :) Stop on by to get the cracks outta your old one and hop a new windshield into it. You deserve to drive safe!
