My wife and I got new phones today. I want to make sure Jordan that took care of us is recognized. Great customer skills, patient, helped us call verizon waited with us till verizon sorted their end out. Jordan waited for me on hold I had to step away from the counter 2 times keep in mind fixing things on verizons end took almost 2 hours, he also talked to the person at verizon with us. He is patient and made sure all the T's and crossed and i s dotted.He is a true asset to the store.

Welcome to Blockbuster video! (We know how that turned out) When I go to a brick and mortar store to buy a new product and am told we can’t order it for you, I’m speechless. Yet earlier that day and the following 2 days, online scalpers are able to buy them out in under a minute. I’m human! I can’t compete with an online bot set to auto-buy as soon as it restocks. Fortunately I had zero issues ordering directly from the manufacturer online. This all reminds me of when I used to go to blockbuster back in the day to rent the latest movie but they don’t have it because they rented them all out online trying to compete with Netflix. Once a company loses sight on it’s core business model, it’s game over. Been a Best Buy customer for decades and it’s sad to see it’s downfall but when I’m standing in your store in person and you basically tell me to go home and keep trying online… well what’s the point having brick and mortar anymore if someone sitting at home has priority over a customer inside the store. Last company I boycotted that I used to spend big $ at was sears. To Best Buy’s management, it’s really simple. If you’re going to try to juggle being a brick and mortar business while being an online retailer, don’t lose track of the core business model. Maybe go check out micro center business model… they seem to be expanding and opening new stores every year, must be amazing customer service there!

This particular Best Buy is very well managed and Evan tho staff doesn't receive commissions, they go out of there way to explain the products. Weather you buy or not

I visited the Best Buy Kankakee IL store in anticipation of purchasing a new computer and printer set-up on 2-3-2024, a late Friday afternoon. The person who I talked to provided ample information about the type of computer equipment that I need to purchase. As most Best Buy stores, including the one closest to my home, are for the most part self-service, this store was a nice surprise (never been there) I am seriously thinking about making my purchases there. The person that I talked to was Mike. Note: this store is in either Bradley or Bourbonnais and is not in Kankakee; it is in the Kankakee area.

Rich demonstrated excellent customer service while helping me pick out a TV. He reviewed the available specs and showed me the differences in quality across multiple brands and models. I am happy with my purchase and pleased with the buying experience.

I have been a Best Buy customer for years. I am terribly disappointed that I was unable to return a digital TV converter box I purchased right before Christmas. This did not work as the service person there said it would. I went to return less than a month after purchase and was told I could not get my money back, nor even receive a store credit. I will no longer be a Best Buy customer. All over a $40 purchase. Shame on you Best Buy!

The employees are completely terrible here. Bought a $600 tv, went to install it that night and there was internal damage. Drove back to the store 30 minutes later from time of purchase and they won’t return it. Called corporate and they said I could return. So I went back to the store AGAIN and they still wouldn’t return. Called corporate for the 2nd time and they said they couldn’t help me because it’s up to the store. Will never buy anything from here again. Totally appalled by the lack of respect from their employees.

Bought a dryer in June and got the 3 year warranty,started not heating in October. They had a technician come out 4 times and it still wasn’t fixed. I asked for a replacement and it was set up. On the day it was supposed to be delivered and the old one picked up. They said the only had a pick up.So for the next 3 days been on the phone trying to get answers and getting the run around. They took the money out of my account as if I was buying a new dryer and overdraft my account. But told me they refunded my money .I just want a dryer it’s almost Christmas shouldn’t have to spend money at the laundromat when you paid for an expensive dryer only a couple months ago.

Went in to buy a TV Antenna left with 65" Toshiba . Best deal ever plus the sales people where all professional in there duty. The store manager new his job well. Plus he was very professional and respectful of your time .
