I canceled renewing my policies with Allstate after their outrageous premium escalations (no claims, just price gouging to boost their stock price!), now they want to charge me $8 for some bogus state tax (I’ve switched coverage in the past and never came across such treatment) and threatened sending to collection if I don’t! Do yourself a favor, Stay away from this insurer and agent!

I had horrible experience with getting my AllState homeowners insurance through Muguel Gonzalez's office. A month later after getting a bundle, car and insurance, I got a cancellation notice, no email, no phone call. The office was keep feeding me with the promises that they are working on it and that they are waiting on something. Long story short, my insurance got cancelled (nothing happed with the property or me during that month) and I urgently purchased a new policy with a different company. When I signed up for AllState policy I gave them details of my mortgage company saying that the insurance will be paid from escrow. 10 days latter my policy was canceled I receive a phone call from the collection agency!!! Again no email, no phone call from Mr. Gonzalez's office. And we are talking about $175. No one ever asked me to pay it. Horrible. NEVER AGAIN!

Taking explain me well why my rate went up, When I called another Insurance Company for a quote they told me because I had 2 accidents even though it was not my fault the rate went up, and because I'm 65 years old, the rates are high for teens and old people.
