Mixed review for this place. They do great work when they respond. But I had a issue with the last project. I have called four times, spoke with someone each time, and was told I would get a call back. So far, no call backs and this is very disappointing as I am unable to resolve this issue.

Hidden gem for aquarium enthusiasts! Large selection of different gravels and hard scape rocks. AMAZING prices compared to pet stores!

I had the most amazing patient help. I enjoyed my visit immensely. I loved the selection! I did notice that the pricing some items was much higher than site one or even the growing place. I'd go back because I loved the selection. Especially the selection on rose of sharon. I want more! There was a lovely young man who was so patient. Even though I over paid a lil on some items, I am going to give it 5 stars because the service I recived was caring and amazingly exceptional. I needed someone to be patient as I pulled together long overdue plantings!
I may go back for more of those white columnar rose of sharons! Gorgeous. Thank you for the amazing weekend experience!

Bought plants early this year. They look dead. The guy at the place said he would not take them back for full price. He would give me money off. Thought they were guaranteed for a year. He said only if they planted them could I get a full refund. Won’t buy from them again!

Awesome experience. Spent ~4k, worth every dollar. Got trees, shrubs and some landscaping. Very professional and did everything above and beyond.All the plants and rock were a good price. The grass seed they picked out for my erosion problem worked out great, I thought the erosion was going to be a big problem but they just educated me that I just needed different grass.Will definitely use them for all future landscaping needs.

The selections they have are very nice, but I agree with some of the other reviews, over priced on some of their items and the young men that work there are very rude.I’ve noticed several times when I’ve patronize that place there are certain people who get immediate attention while others get ignored… wonder what that’s all about?To be honest, I really didn’t feel welcomed there and felt like my business wasn’t appreciated there either.

bought 2 yards of sand in the morning for a certain amount went later on to get more ( a less amount than before ) paid higher for the less amount than before . very unprofessional

The bushes in the front of our home were way over grown. I wasn't sure what we needed to do. We called Home Landscape Materials and spoke with Tim Tuch. Tim had great ideas for our project his designs were perfect.The job was finished just yesterday and we couldn't be happier. Augie and Victor were very professional and hard working. Thank you all for the great experience.

Short version of a long story Have used this landscaping company multiple times over 25 years usually descent results. Not sure whats changed over the years but noticed substandard quality of 2 trees I purchased for over $1800. Both died, requested replacements, even chose different type of tree. Took 4 weeks to replace then trees that were delivered were half dead. Original price $525 each. Needless to say I was not happy. After speaking with the senior business owner I was told they'd be replaced and sooner than 4 weeks. The junior owner whom handled my original purchase and replacement calls back the same afternoon, arguing the trees were fine refusing to honor his partners commitment. So now having lost 2k for installation and 2 trees, hoping I can coax and babysit the 2 replacements back to health. You see, the branches are so dry they snap right off and leaves that on a healthy tree look dark green are yellowed and light green. Do Not Waste your hard-earned $$$$ with this place products have become too expensive, poor quality and 1 year replacement guarantee has become a joke! Growing Place Aurora and Naperville have better variety, healthier plants, knowledgeable sales staff and a points system. Where would you go?
