I have worked with COTG/Xerox for over ten years but something happened in 2019, before Covid, in which their contracts office became ruthless. Our contracts always state that we have the option to return the equipment, buy the equipment, or enter into a new agreement. We opted to return the equipment and it took almost 3 months of almost weekly calls to them to get them to acknowledge what was written in their own contract. Fast forward to today where we are returning the remainder of our equipment that was still on contract. Now, it has been a full year of sending and resending them the contract that notes we can return the equipment at no buyout cost and I am still trying to get them to fix this. In the meantime, they keep sending us invoices for buying out the equipment and keep adding more and more fraudulent late fees. When I actually get to speak to someone and show them the contract, they tell me that I am correct and that they will fix it...only to get another fraudulent invoice in the mail. Meanwhile, their inactivated equipment is taking up an enormous amount of space in our office waiting for someone to come pick it up.

Horrible service. I see all the other poor reviews and can certainly emphasize with other’s pain in dealing with this trashy company. Would never recommend!

complete group of incompetent people from the call center to the service department. highly unorganized incapable people who should be embarrassed by their own incompetance. The printer which we pay for monthly on a lease, stopped working. Took them 4 days to get a service tech out and the service tech was not even prepared to solve the problem and they have to come back.

I have now attempted to obtain a response for four (4) straight months from both Xerox and COTG to buy out my contract. There has been no response.I was advised the current Xerox machine I have would be good for 15,000 pages per month for 5 years. After issues began, I was told it could PRINT that amount, but it cannot SCAN that amount, which is why I have experienced near quarterly issues. The proposed resolution: rent another machine solely for scanning for several thousand dollars over another 5 year term. I purchased the proposed high-volume scanner (which was 1/3rd of the proposed rental in total) and have now been totally ignored by both companies.

Our 5 year experience with COTG was sub standard on its best day. After signing a contract with them, I learned that their salesperson inserted a page of the contract after the signing of the contract (auto renewal clause). Even though I advised COTG of this unethical/non binding action by their salesperson, they still tried to hold me to the unsigned page. Anything that they promised was missed by their own established deadlines and their follow through was none existent. I had to email or call 3 or 4 times to get someone to return my emails/calls. I received responses weeks after reaching out to them. By the time I received a response, I forgot why I had reached out in the first place! I did establish a relationship with a Rockstar employee about 60% through our contract and I held onto her for dear life. If she had not helped us through the last couple of years of the contract, it would have been more miserable than it was. We are now doing printing devices/ink supplies ourselves and it is going SO MUCH BETTER! Do not use a third party for printing and ink services and, if you do, do not use COTG. It was a big mistake on my part on behalf of our firm.

As other reviews state, this company has been a gigantic mistake. Do not work with COTG or Xerox. Customer service is basically non-existent. If you call to open a support ticket, even the agents receiving the ticket express low confidence in the company and its sales teams, referencing other complaints they receive. Save yourself the headache and find someone else.

I have had a horrendous time dealing with this company. DO NOT engage them. Their billing system is antiquated. When I order supplies, I am never sure if they actually are going to send them. Most recently, I requested to cancel my contract. They responded that they needed 60 days notice. That's the last I heard from them. UNTIL...they canceled my contract and sent me a bill for $6000 for ink I had ordered under the contract for the last 2 months.

This company would receive zero stars if it was possible. The ink they sent us was faulty several times and wouldn't work in our printers. Also, our contract expired 4 months ago and they're still sending us invoices. We can't get in contact with our sales rep or his manager. To top it all off, they lost one of our payments and can't get they're billing straight. Seems like an incompetent business all around.

What an absolutely useless company. We have been using them for a year and it is the biggest mistake our business has made. We should've cancelled from the start when they gave us a broken unit and it took 2 weeks to get it resolved. No one there has a clue what is going on. My account rep has a horrible response time, it took 2 different technicians coming out to get our printer set up right the first time. The final straw happened this week when I received a low toner light. We immediately ordered a new toner. When the printer told me to replace the cartridge, I opened the new one and they had sent the wrong one. Now we have no printer until the next time they ship us toner. Find a different company to lease a printer/copier from. You'll be glad you did.

They signed an extremely expensive 5 year contract with an employee who was on his way out from our company, then when asked if they could help us lower costs they led us along back and forth for years always tying any "assistance" to another 5-year contract. Felt like I was a dairy cow being milked for the past four years. I can't wait until our contract is thru and we never have to do business with them again.

Since COTG bought out Martin Whalen, we have received horrible service. We are a medical office that relies heavily on our printing/coping/faxing for a multitude of reasons, including patient care. Multiple calls to their service department has gotten us nowhere. (All calls are forwarded to Guatemala, by the way.) I can't believe they would not return calls from ANY business, let alone a medical office. I certainly DO NOT recommend doing business with this company.
