“Beautiful Temple.But Once we went with kids the lady owner was very rude ,she didn’t let us to do the Darshan even though I show her that Temple is mentioned as ‘opened’ in website but she couldn’t accept and was very rude to us and other family.Temple is a peaceful environment they should behave good to people.”

“RCC is a non-denominational church that meets Sundays at 9:30 AM at Washington Jr. High School. They have a Ministry Center at 710 E. Ogden Ave. #300 that serves as their office and for various gatherings like youth group.RCC is welcoming and embraces you at your comfort level. It's refreshing to be welcomed to a community and people actually come up to you, say hello, and genuinely want to get to know you. The worship service is held in-person and can be viewed on their YouTube live stream. If you come in person, they serve coffee and some light snacks which is great!There are Sunday school classes for children, and they post the teaching content on YouTube and it's also accessible in a parent app!The size of this church is not overwhelming, and it's inspiring to see how they serve the community in outreach and the people that attend their weekly service. There are many families, children, youth, and young adults making it easy to find people at your life stage.”
“Came from out of town - both my sister and I are Presbyterian (me EPC, her OPC) and wanted our family to try a Presbyterian church! We loved the service. People were kind, sanctuary was distraction free and comfortable. The teaching was sound, convicting and encouraging. The music is fantastic with carefully selected, theologically edifying lyrics. They are Presbyterian, so show up on time - they start on the dot. I was surprised at how contemporary the service is though; if you are looking for a heavily liturgical church, at least the Sunday we were there it was pretty liturgy-free. Great church! I hope to go back someday when I’m in town!”

“I attended this church in 2002 soon after my family came to America and found this yellow box. The style was very contemporary and many things what conventional churches should learn !Rarely if I have a chance to drive by here, I see myself crying in the sanctuary because I didn't know what to do for my divorce.Also I remember a person touching his or her hand on me when I was sobbing !I felt someone's sincere concern & could imagine that the person would pray for my agony to be treated by God !After I stopped sobbing, I could see a young couple and the husband had prayed on my back !Appreciated to them and a year or two, I met a woman who looked like the wife of the couple ! I asked her and she said ahe thinks she was the wife of the couple !I said that I wanted to meet her to express my deep appreciation !I wish the more Christians can put their hands onto other immigrants who are not White Caucasians !!! ?”
“I have been a member of Calvary for nearly twenty years. I care deeply about this church. I've not seen many (if any) of the issues described in the complaints here. “No, this is not Henry. It is his wife, Beverly. This church is there to feed you spiritually. It's more than a building. People care. I know because I just lost Henry to Covid-19 and the caring warmth pouring out from church members has helped sustain me during my hours of grief. Both Henry and I were active members of the church. The church members recognize "We are the church!" Always there for each other. Always seeking and finding God's grace within its walls and being uplifted by each. It is through involvement that one realizes they are gaining more than one could give. It is through being a St. John Lutheran Church member in Darien that we recognize Jesus working through its members. Some things that seem small acts of kindness at the time are huge things to others. Come and see and experience this for yourself. The Holy Spirit will be there to guide and direct you. “Telugu/English service at 3pm every Sunday is Nice. A place to worship God along with the congregation and to receive food for the soul from the word of god , dinner after church . People here are very nice and friendly.”

“I visited this place 2 Sundays in a month for Hindi classes at Hindu vidhyalaya. Nice place for kids and adults to learn new things such as language, arts,etc. Especially Chicago winters are cold, people stay at home and kids get bored; this is the place to be in for kids. There are classes which run from 8am to 1pm, every hour session is different.Kids and parents will learn.”
