If I could give ATI Physical Therapy a minus I would. I was told when I went in for the first appointment my copay would be $20.00 per visit. I went 4 times paid my copay at each visit. ATI then sends me a bill for $575.00 saying they are not in my network. The therapist at the Carmel location had 4 patients she was treating at a time! Save your money or go to a hospital physical therapist.

I underwent physical therapy at the ATI in Warrington, PA. The physical therapy itself was fine; the therapists were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Several months later, I received a call from a collection agency seeking payment. I had never received a bill from them. No bills were mailed, no attempt to call me on my cellphone, no attempts to collect - until they sent my account to a collection agency, potentially harming my credit rating. When I attempted to call ATI, I was put on hold for several minutes - and then automatically dumped to voice mail.Per the processes of the collection agency, I must now send a formal request to them for an itemized bill. I'm hoping that the collection agency is more professional than ATI Physical Therapy in this regard.

Just try to get them to properly process your insurance. It won't happen. They failed and refused to process my husband's secondary despite him repeatedly providing the card at the time of service and despite my repeated calls to their "billing" office. By the way - the billing office is now a useless offshore call center where they work on a script and if your inquiry doesn't fall in the script, you will get zero assistance. Don't waste your time .... find a PT with a locally accessible administrative system.

I give them 0 stars not due to the service their PTs provide but due to their horrible invoicing and AP processes. Suggest you avoid this service provider. I suspect their invoicing practices border on illegal. They are certainly not a competent organization and I regret going to them for over 3 years.

My therapy was at ATI location-Riverside Parkway in Belcamp, Maryland.I just wanted to say thank you to all of the employees at this location for being dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate. They go above and beyond and work tirelessly towards helping their patients to recover from their injuries.ATI should be proud to have such an outstanding group of therapists working for them and they should be recognized for their achievements.

I can only hope that someone in the corporate office actually reads these reviews. I was treated at one of their locations where the staff was great. However they did not provide individualized care. Way too many clients booked at the same time, some over lapped for specific reasons that were not the therapists fault. But in the many weeks of attending most people came in and did their own exercises with only one qualified staff in attendance. I can't express enough how great the staff were, but the practice of seeing more then one patient per time slot is bad practice.

Terrible company when it comes to billing. They never reached out to me about an outstanding bill, regardless of what they claim. They didn't verify my address, which they spelled wrong and NEVER verified. They never called, emailed, NOTHING! What did they do? They send a bill I was unaware of to a debt collector. It is unacceptable. They only told me I owed $10 each visit for co-pay, and never informed me about any other outstanding cost. Went there 3 times a week, and they could've let me know.I tried to call ATI several times to figure out why they never tried to call or do anything else to let me know about my balance. All they could tell me was to talk to the debt collector. They blamed me for their mistake. I'm disgusted by them. I do not respect them as a company. If I ever need physical therapy again, I will go anywhere else.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from your staff at [Location]. I had several issues during my visit, including unprofessional behavior, excessive noise, and a lack of attention from the staff. In addition, I was charged an excessive amount for my visit, which caused confusion and stress. When I called your call center to inquire about the charges, I was informed that my $10 payment should have been applied to my co-insurance or deductible. However, after checking with my insurance provider, I was informed that there was no record of this payment. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I expect a higher level of professionalism and attention from your staff, and I believe the charges were unreasonable and not in line with the service I received.I hope that you will take my concerns into consideration and make the necessary changes to ensure that future patients receive the quality care they deserve.Sincerely,

Wow. What a way to start a relationship. I had an appointment at 6:40 am this morning and arrived a little before 6:30 am. I arrived early to ensure I was on time. I went to the door a couple of times to make sure someone hadn’t come in another way but the doors remained locked. I tried calling several times but had to leave messages. Needless to say no one ever came. I waited for over 30 minutes and left. I made this appointment so early in the morning because I needed to go to work immediately following the session. How unprofessional, disappointing and disrespectful of my time.

WANRING! I went there after my doctor referred me but they started charging me $521.66 per visit! for standard physical therapy! Then when you try to talk to someone about it you just cant get through on either the billing line or corporate office number. When calling my local office they say they will have someone call you but no one ever does. THey just hold your credit score for ransom like some kind of PT mafia.

The therapy itself was not at issue. They are incapable of communication regarding insurance issues. After HOURS on hold, getting hung up on, being told someone would call back (never happened), email responses pushing off work, attitude from "patient dedicated specialist", which, he was NOT!! No regard for their patients. Very disappointing. Would never recommend anyone goes there, especially my patients.

No communication and very unorganized. Please don't need anything from their billing office, you will spend HOURS on hold, get hung up on and your needs will NEVER be met. All without a care for their patients, especially the elderly. Throw on a language barrier and forget it. The "patient dedicated specialist" was anything but. Sad that a company that makes so much money treats the people that pay them this way.

I applied for and was approved for financial assistance in 2020. Physical Therapy is a big business where I live, so I had a lot of choices on where to go for post surgery recovery. I chose ATI solely because they had an assistance program I would qualify for. I started to get statements so I emailed the financial office to specifically avoid collections and was told to disregard the statements until all of the dates of service had been finalized with insurance. I continued to get statements into 2022 with pending dates of service. In December 2022 I received a statement from a collections company. I called the financial office and the first call I was told that I was approved for financial assistance but I didn’t qualify. That doesn’t make any sense. I had never been told I didn’t qualify. The second call the girl told me she sees where I was approved and she needed to get more info and a supervisor would call me back. I never heard from a supervisor. I emailed every day for 13 days in a row and never got a return email. I filed with the BBB and was told they could take a % off of my balance and that I needed to call into the office. I called in to the office and asked for the person who responded to my BBB complaint and they said they didn’t know who that was. The woman on the phone also told me that they can’t take debt back from a debt collector. I will never recommend this company to anyone. The therapist I worked with isn’t with the company any longer. I highly recommend using someone local and not some corporate company where you are just a number and can’t get in touch with a real person.
