Do not order from these people and waste your time waiting weeks to get your refund when they ship your items a month late and also send you the incorrect items... They refused to even cover shipping costs for their mistake.

Allegro Medical is a web-based medical supply company that has been around since the 1990s. Products include catheters, incontinence products, patient care supplies, wound care, orthopedics, exam gloves, ostomy supplies, syringes, and quite a bit more. I've purchased catheters over the years from Allegro. The process has typically been fairly seamless, though my order has been typically small and easy to process since I paid up front. I recently lost my bladder to bladder cancer. The result has been getting a urostomy. Beyond the drastic lifestyle changes, this also means I'll be ordering rather expensive supplies on a regular basis for the rest of my life. Thank good for insurance. Despite being one of the first medical suppliers on the web, Allegro remains rather basic - the only payments accepted are credit cards or "net 30" with approved credit. Surprisingly, they don't work with insurance. Period. My ostomy clinic reached out to them on multiple occasions to explore options, however, Allegro was completely non-responsive. I reached out twice myself and also got no response. Ultimately, I gave up on Allegro and decided to send me $1,000/month business elsewhere. So, if you have a one-off need for a medical supply then Allegro may very well be easy enough to work with. If you have a need and plan to pay by credit card, this may be the way to go. However, with the weak customer service and lack of payment options you can definitely find far better companies to deal with for your healthcare needs.

As several others have noted, I wish I'd read the ratings before I ordered. Product was not as advertised. Allegro would not replace. Went to the manufacturer -- who authorized them to replace. Allegro stopped responding. Go somewhere else. Don't waste your money here.

they seem to have google reviews locked out. terrible store. 3rd party drop seller. 3 weeks and no communication. 5 hundred dollar item. Never say or heard a thing. Terrible seller.

I had been ordering from this company for 9 years. On this last order I did not receive the product. I was on the phone with them for hours over this issue. They said I did not choose the correct address and that they shipped it to my old address. That is not true. After much arguing they said they would ship it out again. Again I did not receive it. They then said that they shipped it to the wrong address again. And, they said if I wanted the product I would have to pay for it, AGAIN. So I am out the money and never received the product. These people are rude and have taken my money.

Horrible, wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. Ordered on Feb 3rd, shipping date on the 10th came and went without any communication from the company. I called to see what was going on and was informed that the earliest it would ship was another 2 weeks. Cancelled the order and it took 3 more calls & 5 days for my money to be returned. Do not recommend at all

Ordered a small product a month ago. It's stuck in processing limbo. Just throw it in an envelope and mail it. It's not hard.I work in a warehouse. I know how easy it is to get things out quickly. This place is a scam.

I wish i had checked reviews before purchase!!! I ordered urgent medical supplies to be delivered by the time my father came out of hospital; no delivery or communication by expected shipping date. i called and emailed asking status and if not coming cancel order. was told coming soon!! emailed back asking what is soon? received email saying it will be delivered the following day. nothing was delivered. I ordered from amazon as per mail. finally items came after the amazon delivery.
I have been calling and emailing to return and refund money with no success.
I will continue to write bad reviews on every site until i get refund. or company declare bankruptcy!!!

Our order for medical supplies was shipped in a fair amount of time. Beware however, if the order you place does not fit your needs. You will need to call Allegro to start the return process. They seem to be a larger online supplier but have a very clunky return process for this day and age. You create your return label, pay for shipping (which is acceptable) but I can only imagine with the size of some supplies that could be costly. We won't place an order with them again due to the return shipping process and length of time it will take for the refund to be back on our card (2-3 weeks after they receive the return back).

This company is a total joke!! On January 15, I ordered a set of dumbells which were suposedly IN STOCK and I was to received within 15 days. After a month, and being without any news, I called and was said that my order was in fact delayed until May 15!! By that date, I called again and was said it was now delayed again to June 29!! Finally on July 13, I received an email that it was simply cancelled!!

what a joke do not buy anything here, they take your money and could care less. You are not buying from them they are middle people waiting time is 2 to 3 weeks and nobody cares buy from amazon cheaper and great customer service and get in a day !!!!!!!!!!!!! and I could be using my walker bad bad news stay away

Supplies are good and I order for my son monthly, but they have charged my card twice on multiple occasions and customer service just says that it will return in a couple business days. Last night just so happened to be the worst. I placed an order and the site kept telling me I entered the wrong card information. I resubmitted the card info and hit “place order” multiple times and it charged my card for each time although the site kept saying that the card info was incorrect. This means that I lost money for an order that was never placed. My account is now over drafted for the weekend and I have to wait until either the bank or this establishment reimburses me in a few business days. Customer service told me that “it just does that sometimes.” Huge inconvenience and not the first time. Probably will not be placing another order.
