I cancelled my BlazerEV reservation on September 6th, the email states that i should receive my refund in 7 business days. To this day I still have not received my refund. I have contacted General Motors over 15 times, and I have been in the dealership 2 times so far. The dealership is the place that should be sending me the refund, and I keep being told that the manager responsible is not working today. The lady responsible for my refund case is always nice but she knows it's up to this dealership that this case gets resolved. It's not a big refund but this tells me this dealership has amazing reviews for selling you cars but when they need to assist you with a problem they keep tossing the ball. Instead of this BlazerEV I purchased a Tesla and I'm really glad I did.

Absolute worst dealership experience in the 25 years I've been buying cars. Do not shop here. Please. Save yourself the time and anguish. Long story short: Add-on fees are predatory. $2600 in repairs needed immediately on the brake system. More than 10 weeks since I have purchased the vehicle and I'm still waiting on my registration and plate. Long story: First, a positive. Amanda S. has been helpful. I drove from Michigan because of a great price on a van- about $23595. I waited about an hour to test drive it because someone had gone home with the keys. After a test drive, Denzell brings over the actual price with taxes, fees, and all of Advantages add-ons. They want $30,500. Nearly $7k more. (For those who don't know about lending, this pushes your vehicle far over loan to value (LTV) and increases the rate you will pay on your loan.) They did remove a $3,000 Advantage fee because I didn't live in the area. They kept the $1000 fee for protective door strips, which I never received. But it's a dealer, so I expect shady stuff. The vehicle was still within NADA value. If a dealer doesn't make me feel bad about myself then do I even want to shop? I sell them my Hyundai Elantra. They say they will send a check for payment 14-21 days after a lien is cleared. (The lien has been cleared for a month now and they have not sent my check.) UPDATE: the check is in the mail. Picked the van up next weekend. About three weeks after that the brakes lock up on the highway. Take it in- $2600 in brake repairs needed. New calipers, pads, and rotors. The ABS module is bad, too. I live in Michigan so towing it was not an option. Guess I'll eat that. Finally, they charged me over $150 to change the registration from my old car to the van- it's 10 weeks later and I'm told that, hopefully, my plate will be to me soon. They also sent an email about 8 weeks after my purchase asking for the registration on my old Hyundai and then a picture of my license plate to try to get the registration switched over. I am amazed by how poorly this place is run and how badly they have managed every aspect of my car purchasing experience. If I didn't know better I would think someone was doing this on purpose. Oh, and for the guys driving the van around- next time disconnect your "Big Azz iPhone" from the Bluetooth. At least pretend you aren't using it to transport your stuff around while it sits in the lot.

Wow. What a shame. If I could rate this place a ZERO I WOULD. I purchased two of my vehicles here before, and the process has been great. I go in to Advantage yesterday, 6/20/23 to purchase a new Silverado. I went back to my original sales rep, John, because I am a loyal person. Everything was going smoothly and we even shook hands and made a deal. I then realized that they failed to provide me with what my interest rate would be. Once I asked, they acted weird, freaked out, and as if they knew nothing. I made a scene and said then where did these numbers come from?! Then all of a sudden they change my interest rate in a matter of 10 seconds since I brought it up. This dealership should be named TAKING Advantage chevy. What an absolute shame. They made it seem like I was the bad guy when they tried to be slick and not provide me with information. The sales manager then said "then I dont have to sell you the truck" I said "GOOD! Then don't". Acting as if they're arent other dealerships. Interesting how once a young, smart, woman walks in to purchase a vehicle they think they can take advantage of me and screw me over. Nope. Wrong girl. Funny thing is, my family is KNOWN for purchasing vehicles from here. I regret giving them any of my business. RUN!!!

I had one of the most awful experiences at this dealership. I came to purchase a new vehicle and had my own financing. I had made an appointment after securing my pre approval prior. The vehicle I originally chose had been sold so I was asked if I'd be interested in a used car (a year old) I said I was so they sent me to the used dealership next door. Big mistake. To make a long story short, after 3 wasted days, my co-signer flying in from out of state, and a lot of miscommunication, THE FINANCE MANAGER decided that they didn't want to sell me a car. He tried to convince me that my financing company felt my very legitimate pay stubs were fake. After calling my finance department about 4 times they continuously told me that they were accepted at that bank and approved. The finance manager (name is Kaalis or something to that degree) doubled down and tripled down saying that nobody at capital one knows what they are talking about as he is speaking directly to underwriting. I just had to take his word for it. I have fair credit. It's not perfect and I was coming in with a trade in that was upside down. I believe they simply didn't want to work with me. In the end, the finance manager completely became disrespectful and accusatory stating that HE in fact didn't believe my check stubs were real and he was protecting the best interest of his company. He went on to say that if the car for repossessed that the bank will be coming after his company. Why was there an assumption that it would be repossessed when I have no repossessions on my credit and had been paying for my current car for 4+ years! He said "it doesn't matter that you pay your current car. You can get this one and stop paying next month if something happens." He the accused me of being someone who gets their information "from the internet" and suggested that I could've simply made up my stubs on the internet as well. Never asked for a w-2. Never asked for a bank statement to verify my income. (Which they didn't need because I had my own financing!) He cut me off every time I tried to speak and then when I asked if he would allowed me to finish he said "say what you have to say and then I'm done with you". Very condescending and got more upset when I asked him not to be. As stated before, I have fair credit after cancer treatment & the pandemic. Never lost my car throughout all that! I didn't deserve to be treated that way I left there and went to to anther dealership nearby and got the same car only a better color and a very awesome experience from start to finish. Save yourself the headache and the disrespectful experience and STEER CLEAR of Advantage Chevrolet in Bolingbrook. Here I am with my 2022 Trailblazer from another dealership that I got only hours after being discriminated against!

My wife and me came in looking to get a new car. As soon as we walked in we were greater by everyone. We dealt with Bob he was fantastic in helping us pick out the car we were looking at. He went over every detail on the car. Bob was excellent at everything he did to work with us on getting the best deal. I was also given a good deal on my trade in. When we dealt with finance I believe we had Tom. He helped us finalize everything and get us what we needed. I would highly recommend coming here. BOB went above and beyond to help us.

I visited Advantage Chevrolet about a week into shopping for a used car. I walked in without an appointment, and Alvi was ready to help right away. He showed me the particular car I was interested in and another I asked to drive while I was there. I got my trade-in appraised and was able to leave with an estimate on a 2017 Chevy Cruze. I was not ready to purchase and the car was sold within the week. I did end up purchasing elsewhere just simply because of availability. However, I was very pleased with my experience. Alvi was very informative, never pushy, and I was only called/emailed once just to check-in, while other places bombarded me with calls and emails. They offered me a very fair deal on my trade-in as well. I would highly recommend shopping here with Alvi and would visit again in the future.

Beware of deceptive advertising. Bought a used Silverado Truck from them and it was advertised with numerous options that it didn't have on it. You only find out about the missing options when you arrive and if you ask the right questions. They advertised 2 set of keys and remotes, but only gave me 1 "because that's all the previous owner gave them". Cost me another $250 to get a set of backup keys / remote. Also misled me about the 1.9% financing. After we agreed to the deal, the salesman said I could only get the financing rate if I bought the GM Certification at a cost of $1,300. The truck was nice and the transaction went smoothly, but Buyer Beware....

I was in the market for an suv. We stopped into Advantage and was greeted and helped by Juan Jacome. He was very helpful. He answered all of the many questions I asked...lol. He was surely patient with me, because I could be a handful. I am very pleased with my purchase and how well they took care of the hail damage. Anyhow, very pleasant young man and an overall great experience.

Most unprofessional dealership I have ever been to. My sales representative was very ignorant. Could not do basic math. I had to correct him 3 times and he tried to argue with me that i was not right. Once he realized his math was off, his response was "well we all make mistakes." He made very rude and unprofessional remarks to my wife. On top of all this, they ran my credit through 13 lenders. My credit score dropped 40points because of this. BUYER BE AWARE STAY AWAY!!!

Although we did not purchase from here going forward I will be sure to recommend everyone to go here and to see Andre! My grandmother was looking for a car and soon as we came in we pulled up and spoke with Andre! He was very nice and patient with my grandmother as i know how hard she can be. The initial vehicle we saw was cheaper at the Hodgkins location and Andre informed ya that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to price match. I really think both locations should be able to and also swap with their inventory because we wanted to give him the sale! Ultimately we ended up going to the other location but I couldn't let Andre efforts go unnoticed he even stopped them from running my grandmothers credit and told us if we had issues to call him back and he will get everything started back up for us! I appreciate his help and knowledge! And when I need to trade in my car I know where I will be going!
