I submitted a mail hold on July 31, when I moved out of my Blue Island residence. This post office has continued to deliver mail to the address, including valuable packages and CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE MEDICATION sent from the VA. They allowed someone who was not the addressee to sign for the medication. This post office has been handling my medication deliveries for almost 2 years-- regardless of the fact that the mail hold was ignored, the carrier knows she should not have let anyone but me sign for the package. Now there is a stolen Schedule II drug in a household with small children.

They are thieves . They open people mail & steal packages & your personal checks. This postal office needs to be investigated & closed..

I’m very pleased with this location and highly recommend visiting. My experience today was with Kiera and Deante. Both very pleasant and professional. Very welcoming and clean location. The postal reps answered all my questions and made my transaction a smooth one. Would visit again. I was a little Leary about some of the complaints but being in there today showed me it’s a lot of mad unsatisfied people in the world. They go into these establishments with that energy and not knowing it can be reciprocated at any time. Be mindful people.
I even took time and did the survey after my visit to ensure a decent rating

I just don’t understand how it takes all day to get our mail and packages , literally can walk to the blue island post office , I see my mail is out for delivery at 6:20am but it takes all day to get it delivered? It’s currently Wednesday at 4:52pm and still haven’t received my mail or package ……..

The lady who served me was super rude, her attention was terrible, she threw away my package and left asking her colleague to serve me because she did not understand, but beyond that she was not willing to serve me, I felt a little violated and discriminated against ?

I was supposed to get my package deliver by this post office then it said I have to pick it up but I know I put deliver plus it told me that it was out for delivery now it said it wasn’t able to get my package delivered like make it make sense ?

We had two checks stolen totaling $15,000. They NEVER made it to their destination and found out they were cashed by another person.

Why even have passport walk-in service available if the person that does them is never there!!! And while you’re there you can stand in line for long periods of time because the young woman at the counter is too distracted with headphones on having a personal conversation during work hours. All of these government employees are just there to do the bare minimum and collect a check.

Horrible, I don't recommend them, the worst office there can be, they cancel your passport appointments while you are there, they just tell you that they can't serve you and that's it ??

They deserve zero stars! Nothing but thieves working here! Don’t ship anything of value it won’t make it to its rightful destination, it’ll be stolen by their employees and usps will do nothing about it but send an automated response apologizing. I will not be patronizing the postal service for shipping purposes ever again. I am at a total loss of $800 because of their thievery.

This post office should be shut down as seeing they have no humans working in it. I can’t understand why anyone even considers going there. If you value your mail and/or packages I suggest you don’t go THERE! They are incompetent RUDE THIEVES!

The United States Post Office the employees are so very friendly and polite. Also if you have any questions about your mail, package etc. Thay are ready to help you anyway they can.

I have not received any mail all week and neither did several neighbors that I asked. Went to the post office to inquire why and was told that they are shorthanded and had several people call off and that all the mail is out for delivery today. it is now going on 4 PM and no mail yet.

I have never had an issue with this post office. Our mail carrier is the best, and whenever I need to ship packages I’m met with friendly staff who always get the job done.
