Your automated phone system doesn't work. It doesn't recognize when I push buttons.

This Bank has the worst customer service in-person and over the phone. The bank tellers are rude and when I called customer service I was put on hold for over 30 minutes.

This bank in Blue Island is the only bank I’ve ever been to where they tell us, specifically people with various disabilities who have been longtime clients, that they cannot go through the drive thru to do banking!!! When questioned if it would be easier for the tellers to have a couple people at a time, they still want the disabled to make it in the bank despite possible individualized difficulties. Isn’t this discrimination? Is this not against the ADA in some way or form? When there are multiple individuals with behavioral or physical difficulties who must do banking in an inconvenient or inaccessible way, I feel they’re on the thin line of human/civil rights violations. And let the individual have a behavior/disruptive moment, now they’re looked upon with the stigmas we work on eliminating about them in society! Shame on you First (worst) Midwest Bank Blue Island. Perhaps time to look for a different bank/branch to do business.

DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK. THEY LET PEOPLE FORGE CHECKS AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. UNPROFESSIONAL. BRANCH MANAGER LETS PEOPLE STEAL FROM ACCOUNTS. REGIONAL DOES NOTHING EITHER.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR FUNDS ELSEWHERE!

CALL THE POLICE? Let me tell you what just happened! I went into the branch in Blue Island on 121st & western. I signed in and sat down because I had cash on me and I wanted to open up a new account. Some crazy homeless looking guy was in there screaming and cursing loud. I looked around and all the personal bankers just ignored the fact that he was about to get violent inside of a bank. The guy got louder and louder. I looked for a security guard but they did not have one. I looked at all the tellers and they were all in a circle talking in Spanish doing nothing like his behavior was normal. Then the guy who was sick of being ignored got up and was about to start throwing brochures. When he did that I got up and left. Oh my God who is running this bank? They did not call the police. That is so odd. So it's perfectly fine to let a stranger come inside a bank and start cursing, yelling and throwing things? For my own safety I am never going in there again. There is no security guard.

my dad had a joint account with my mom at that bank for over 20 years. she passed away and he had to get some letters notarized that I typed up for him. the first two letters they notarized with no problem. when he came back to get a third letter notarized the teller refused to and said she wouldn't and couldn't because the letter did not say to notarize it. when I called to question why he was denied she was extremely rude and rushed me off the phone. before I got off the phone I told her I would simply have my Dad close his account because of her unprofessionalism despite him being a customer there for at least 20 years. a week later Adult Protective Services came to our home with the police threatening and harassing us saying that a financial institute call and said that my dad was being abused physically or financially. This God Awful unethical terribly disgusting bank had the audacity to call Adult Protective Services because they were rude and unprofessional. despite knowing that our family had just lost a mother and a wife.needless to say I don't believe that that would have happened had my dad not been a black senior citizen man. needless to say anyone who chooses to do something as vile as that does not deserve any decent human beings doing business there.

I'm used to the other branches not treating me very nicely. I'm handicapped and have a lot of trouble walking and go to the drive up if I need some special accommodation. Today the lady at the drive up treated me like a valued customer instead of being treated like a pain in the neck like at the other branches. I didn't get her name, but she was the only one back there at 4:30. Kudos and thank you to the nice lady for her kindness and professionalism.
