“This is a great convenience store for people living in the Avalon Park Community. They have a lot of seasonal foods that is enjoyable. The workplace atmosphere is social, alarming, and jokingly sweet. Do not spend too much there at Food Town because the photos show that there is a family that needs the seasonal foods and treats too; also, the local advertisements that Food Town market will bring you to another place just as great as Food Town. “As a Chicago native, there will never be another iconic place like Moo & Oink, but this store comes close to both the feel and the excellent selection abundance that Moo & Oink offered. My Grandpa and Auntie suggested I come here. I’ve flown past on the freeway and never bothered coming here. But one time is all it took for me to wanna come BACK. Fabulous butchery. Anything you need or want or don’t need but want anyway. A battalion of smoked meats. A forest of every kinda fresh greens your soul could long for. There’s a hot food section that had BANGIN’ Jamaican oxtails and rice. Whew, Jesus. If you come here, you betta have a cooler or plentiful trunk space. There’s a lot to be had. And bought. Great staff too. Even if you’re not from around here, come to this place to stock up on all your Chicago goodies. You can get stuff here to make anything you want. They even got frozen pizza puffs. Yeah, boyyyyyeeeeeee.”
“The meat is very fresh, what I like the most is the jerky they make, it has a very good flavor similar to that from Mexico, since I started buying the meat there my family does not want to go anywhere else and I recommend that you visit them at the end of the week so they can try the menudo and the carnitas they prepare.”

“The week that I was there, they had nice thick t-bone steaks for $3.99 per lb which is not heard of. Many meat items had very good sale price. Everything looked fresh, however, there was a slight odor. Wear a heavy coat, as it very cold, on purpose.”

Everyone there is extremely nice…from the carnicero, to the lady stocking the shelves, to the cashier. It’s a small family business but you can tell they care. “We love the smoked bacon, Waygu burgers, and sausage Pattie's. The filet mignon is also one of our favorites. They will deliver next day to your house at no cost. Try to Mafia Pork barbecue sause - it's fantastic. Go to their retail store for a great experience and selection of food.”
