Truly a disgrace of a place for them to care so much about.momey and not animals. When you're quoted 800 to get something done to your pet you will be presented a 1700 bill when you arrive for pick up. After this they tell you, "we won't release your pet to you unless you pay the full 1700". To top all of it off you call 2 hours before they close to get painedication for your pet and are told "we will call you to come get it" then they proceed to call 2 mins before they close to tell you you have to get it in the morning when they open. This place and all of the staff is a money hungry joke. You all should be ashamed of youselves. And the terrible snotty customer service idjits up front are all just peachy as well to deal with

Biggest rip off vet I've ever seen. Quoted 700.00 for a nuter and a spade. Went to pick them up, bill was 1,950.00. Was told could not have my dogs back, until whole bill was paid, which is illegal. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. ALL THEIR WORRIED ABOUT IS THE MONEY NOT THE PETS.

I have been taking my dogs here for years. Vets have always been great and my dogs are well taken care of. My senior arthritic dog has been getting Librela injections for a few months. Went today and the price went from $78 to $128–that’s over a 70% price increase. Absolutely disgusting and pure greed. I called another vets office to get the price for their librela injection and they charge exactly what I’ve been paying—so I know the price of the medication hasn’t increased-it’s just pure greed. It’s unfortunate Bevlab will be losing a lot of long term clients

1st you need an appt which I didn’t have the day b4. The Vet seen my Cookie the same day to let me know she had an abscess. They done surgery the next day. Love this Animal Clinic for my baby. The price of surgery was hefty but that’s what you have to do with your pet babies. Take care of them at all costs literally

3 stars only because the receptionists and the vet tech were so nice. First visit here. Moved to the area. Great reviews and recommendations. Dr. Wardrip disappointed me with her handling of my dog and her bedside manner. No introduction. Very cold. Not sure if it's because my dog is a pitbull or maybe the doctor was having a bad day. I'll keep driving 40 minutes to the old vet, but thanks for letting me try out the place.

I would not recommend this vet, as I left a couple emails and FB messages. Asking to visit clinic with or without canine to evaluate staff and get some pricing. There lack of response predisposes there lack of concern and wiliness to meet new clients. Therefore i will go elsewhere. FYI sent 2 additional emails to them, again, no response, so there reply is simply, smoke and mirrors.

Bevlab is a great place for you and your pet. They are easy to schedule with and the staff is wonderful. We just left a well ebing check and they treated my old pup gently and kindly. They made her feel at ease and treated her very well. They have also helped us through euthanatizing our 2 sick and elderly dogs a couple years back. They were kind and compassionate and handled the ashes for us.

***disclaimer to make a long story short their prices and policy's suck read below why I think so*** (over 4 year user of Bev lab) Initially I was going to give a 2 star rating but upon seeing the prompt "could be better" vs the one star "not good" I decided not good was exactly how I was feeling about my visit today. I went in with my elderly cat (18 years) because she has been pooping out of her litter box, and for advice regarding her ageing /care... A little further background my cat had also been vomiting about 2 weeks prior to the visit which further caused concern... ultimately I wanted a uranalysis to be sure this isn't an infection, and some recommendations for arthritis. I know bevlab has a policy about not even touching a pet until they are vaccinated for rabies.... I've experienced this before a story I will expand on later in my review.... HOWEVER I was told by a Tec that due to her advanced age it would be at my vets discretion. well the vet came in and started her exam without vaccinating her or even mentioning it so I thought I was in the clear, boy was I wrong at the end of the exam she very quickly and without confirming it was ok said it was a requirement and did it... Mind you rabies vaccine can be gotten free or at a heavily discounted rate elsewhere which I have gone and done before...AND my cat literally does not leave my house, this visit was the first in years... this policy is purely for monetary gain... 50 something for the shot, 6 for the tag, and 6 for medical waste fee... Moving on, rather then listening to my concerns of an infection I was gas lit by the vet who thinks she could be in the litterbox but just missing, since most of the piles are on the litter mat outside the box... mind you this is a mostly closed box with the poo about a foot from the entrance in neat piles...so it didn't roll there either... well since the vet didn't think infection could be a thing, fair enough I'm no vet I just thought maybe and would have paid for the test to sooth my mind, but no she went to address the arthritis. The first rec was a full panel bloodwork up for a new injection they've been trying out to see if she would be a good candidate... and 2-3 shots that would be given over the next 3 months.... sounds expensive I didn't even ask how much..... next was a supplement that they offer 1 pill a day till 4-6 weeks and then 1 every other day... 40 dollars. wont see results till 4-6 weeks and then ill run out right after meaning ill have to go back for more what every two months.... Honestly I was hoping for some talk of proper diet/nutrition, an over the counter supplement I could get when I buy her food... not everything needs a damn prescription. my visit lasted 15 min, 20 tops... 75$ was the "exam" fee.. my total at the end 170 and some change... for a 15min exam a bottle of supplements and a rabies vaccine she didn't need. I'm not broke either if I felt like my animals care and health was their concern Id GLADLY pay.. *** more on rabies and why this place is out for your money not your pets health*** About a year ago I had an incident where one of my dogs ate rat poison a neighbor had laid by the fence line not knowing some had fallen on my side. I called Bev lab immediately hoping they could get him in.... This was during covid policy's still being in effect mind you no other vets office was accepting new patients and quite frankly emergency vet bills are just unaffordable... I called requesting that both the dog (luffy) I saw eat rat poison and my other dog(jenna) whom I didn't see but had access to the poison be seen. They didn't have openings at first but called back and had room to see one of my dogs after a cancellation.. I picked luffy as I had seen him eat the poison... Before they made him vomit they immediately vaccinated him for rabies. He vomited up the pellets, and was sent home with vitamin k which is the general treatment for most rat poison... mind you they wouldn't give me more for my

Overall, I think the place is great! Wonderful staff and amazing doctors. Each doctor is attentive to your pets needs. Although they are expensive, usual costs are like 250-350 average vet visit. After the removal of financing your bill, it can be hard to pay for an illness, speaking from the point of view of a college student. Although, there is a loyalty system in place so each visit can add up to points you can save for future visits. To conclude, a wonderful place with wonderful people to fix your pets illnesses, if the cost is no problem. :) [also my cat after his first visit at Bevlab]

The staff was absolutely amazing from the time I made my baby girl Coco’s emergency appointment. The staff there friendly, the office was modern with state of the art equipment. I was so thankful they were able to accommodate us on such a short notice. Good quality customer service starts at the beginning and is backed up by team support and follow through. I was hit with a little bit of bad news but I knew Coco was in good hands receiving the best care. This is my baby girl Mz Coco. BevLab offers a wide range of services to meet your pets needs. I highly recommend Bevlab for all your veterinary needs. They are conveniently located on 127th St. in Blue Island, Illinois.D. Kinnie

When I lived in Blue Island years and years ago, Bev Lab was my go to vet. Living in a different south suburb now, I find myself going back to Bev Lab for the kind of care I just don’t feel I get in my own neighborhood. Everything from the desk staff to the technician(s) and of course the Vet is above par. Let’s face it, pet care is not cheap. Why not go to a location where they treat you so good you (almost) don’t mind paying such costs, despite how much you love your pet.

With heavy hearts we had to make the difficult decision to let our Casey go today. The same compassionate care Casey received for almost 16 years was shown to Casey and us once again on this difficult day. We would like to thank the entire staff at Bevlab from the Doctors, Technicians and Receptionists who cared for our Casey throughout his life. Wewouldn't take our pets anywhere else. Thank you for everything.Frank and Judy Heslin❤️?
