Beautiful store and lots of great yarns to choose from. Would have loved to be able to peruse and purchase, however, the lighting was bad and we had to abandon the shop due to the owner(?) and some other lovely lady allowing a toddler to run around screaming and bumping into the wares and also customers. Not conducive to a great shopping experience. Don't think I'll ever go back. What a shame.

I'll give the person the benefit of the doubt and just believe she had a stressful day. I had finally managed to make it into town when the store was open, and I was so excited! The beautiful colors and wide array of products was amazing, I wish I'd felt welcomed to view it all. Very new to the craft myself, I wasn't exactly sure the name of what I was looking for. She wasn't patient or kind with my sense of awe and wonder, but it's worth a shot and I'll return again at some point.

Great shop, great vibe, great people!! The owner, Marti, is extremely helpful and kind. She has a great knowledge of yarn, knitting, crochet, weaving, and more. The group of people that knit/crochet/weave/spin there have been so helpful with helping me learn and advance in skills over the years through classes or 1:1 help.

The shop has an outstanding selection of yarns. There was a group of knitters working on projects in the back of the shop and they were all incredibly friendly. The owner said hello and asked if I needed anything but left me on my own to peruse without feeling pressured to buy. I purchased to skeins which she wound for me. Overall it was an excellent trip.

I love shopping local and The Yarn Garden has high quality products along with fun events for the knitting/crocheting hobby. The owner is always there to assist on a project. My favorite hang out ace on Tuesday nights.
