“It took awhile for me to really see the value of Aldi. I now confess that what they do, they do very well. The prices for the food they offer are probably the best in our city. Meat, veggies, keto, random seasonal stuff can be found there. It can however, sometimes be frustrating thinking they have something and they don't. And then there is the issue of needing a quarter to get a cart. I personally find that annoying, but have overcome!”

“I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!”

“Went there last night. Was good to see hand sanitizer located in atleast 5 locations. Everyone had a mask on unless they were seated or outside having a cigarette. I know these times of Covid are unique to say the least. However, I appreciate the owner and staff at Pub 1 for helping keep themselves and everyone safe”
