At the Kohl's in Bloomington, Illinois, they told me that I had to provide my email or phone number in order to check out. They said this was necessary to receive points, but I don't care about that. I just bought one thing and it literally took 15 minutes to check out because there were so few clerks and their demand for additional information. (They also wanted me to give them my phone number and month and year of birth which I refused to give them). I will never go there again.

I shop this store often and was disappointed in the mess that I found in the women's undergarment department; I can't believe the management team finds this acceptable. However, best part of my shopping experience was at the checkout counter and dealing with Shirley, talk about someone who understands the importance of customer service. While she may be of a mature age, I would rather deal with someone like her than someone from the younger generation who can't look you in the eye or put down their cell phone long enough to be bothered. Kudos to you Shirley for putting the customer first!
