“Meat and produce are top notch AND reasonably priced for the quality! I enjoy browsing the snack food isles for hard-to-find items like Secret Aardvark habanero hot sauce (although I haven't seen it in a while).”
“Always clean with good selection. They have some cute sneakers in their Aldi Finds section, and I found a pair for my daughter and for myself- for half the price of anywhere else. Not to mention, their Aldi brand merch is adorable. I love my new sneakers!”
“We love going to HyVee whenever we’re in the BloNo area. They’re known for great groceries and a vast selection of goods that can’t be found elsewhere. Today when we visited we were checked out by Shannon and he was the best cashier we’ve had so far! He was friendly and chatty, but not over the top with conversation or the “customer service voice” (which is appreciated 100%). The produce could be a bit fresher, throughout the duration of our visit we did see a few different workers cycling produce throughout the area. We’ll be back soon!”
“We had a large party with several children under the age of ten. The staff could not have been nicer and we were by ourselves under a beautiful gazebo. I felt transported to a farm in Tuscany”

“The staff is always personable, professional and courteous despite the apparent staffing shortage they manage to move from restocking to listening to the bell to respond to customers when they arrive at checkout without looking exasperated. I always go into the store and spend more than I intended to spend. There’s always a treasure there that is also a great price deal. I am glad they have expanded the convenience items that save us time and guess what we can get about all we can without having to go to the grocery store”
“Went looking for futon that the normal store, they said was out of stock at their place. Came here to look for the same one and it also seemed like it was out of stock. But Ethan from the lawn and garden center and Bryce from electronics were dope as hell!!! They were determined to help us find it, Ethan even helped us lug it to the car. We love them. We demand they get a raise. Please appreciate them bc the normal Walmart people weren't as nice smh”

“The bagger Blake and his cashier tonight were phenomenal. Two trashy cashiers were getting into a horrible fistfight and the managers and other staff had to break it up and Blake was outstanding in his customer service as was his cashier. She was very friendly and apologetic. Hopefully the girls in question got arrested and or fired. It was nasty.”
“I shop here for literally EVERYTHING!! I love all the sales they always have and if you shop right you can find pennied out items that are only one cent per item!!!! I know one woman who bought two FULL to the brim carts of things and she spent like 6 bucks it was AMAZING!!”
“Of all the WalMarts I've been to this one is the best so far. Very clean, everyone is friendly and I always get through the line quickly. Only down side is they always have everyone stocking shelves and in the way. This is why this is usually done overnight at most places”

“Green Top is affordable, local, fresh, organic, donates to local charities, *and* you don't have to be a member to shop there. There's nothing not to love. They always have fresh produce, meat, bread, and cheese from local farmers and bakeries. Their deli counter is always well-stocked with grab-and-go items if you're looking for a quick meal, and there's space in the store to eat if you have the time. They have a taco bar on Tuesdays and a vegetarian and non-vegetarian soup of the day. Some of their more affordable items include bulk goods (flour, oats, nuts, coffee beans, etc.) and canned goods. For example, a loaf of fresh bread from Central Illinois Bakehouse is around $4.50, comparable for what you'd pay for a loaf of ultra-processed sourdough from Jewel or Kroger. There's a good selection of wellness items, and always fun seasonal items. I do Christmas shopping there every year and stock up on fancy chocolates, Funks Grove items, and other edible gifts. You also don't have to do all your shopping at Green Top to support them and save money. For myself, I do about 25% of my shopping at Green Top and feel that it's good value for the money. I highly, highly recommend them!”
