Bad customer service and. Never got the answers I wanted no one could help will not get a loan thru them any more tried to talk with someone else no help and took my money what the he'll going to another credit union I always go to will not do this again

had my account with them since I was 17 but recently they have been trying to act like my work paycheck are fake when I never in my life had a fake check or took them one! I feel like they was racially profiling but Iv ask other workers who work with me and bank with them does this happen and it don't so I closed my account and will never bank with them again

I guess I just had the worst customer service in a long time here. They didn't try to resolve the situation or even try to act like they cared. Don't bank here. I don't like writing bad reviews and certainly don't want to write one about a local bank. I even sought some type of positive response from the bank by sharing my experience with other employees. I received an "ok" and someone hanging up on me.Today, I called into the bank to pick up a check. The woman in the IRA department was rude and even tried to explain things to me she was not clear herself about. She went on to try to find some answers by calling other people and leaving me on hold for 30 minutes. She picked up the phone and say "Hi, how can I help you?" I told her she put me on hold 30 minutes before and she said "Oh, I thought I hung up and had the other banks call you." No update on my check. No apology. Just another "ok" response. It felt even intentional because she was still upset I questioned her earlier easily confused and wrong headed. I then did as she did and called the other banks. They told me this woman had already told me she had the check at a certain bank. She never told me this. This whole interaction took an hour and a half to just get a check. No one tried to deliver customer service or make up for my wasted time. No apology. No one cared. These people deserve to go out of business if this continue on this road.

The Customer support is absolute garbage. You should not have to have a degree in banking and a master in law to understand your rights when you trust someone with your money. Unless you enjoy wait times. Random charges to your account for minor reasons, as well as getting shut out when you are trying to get help for your own account. Do some research and go somewhere else.

CEFCU... where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. So far I have not been able to use my card out of town, only been able to withdraw $200 at the lost from atm, a card limit of $300, and charged astronomical fees unlike any other bank I've ever dealt with. Im assuming it's all bc they have restrictions for people with poor credit. Sooooo... I guess you just hold onto poor peoples money. My dad was nice enough to send me money for new tires (again, I'm poor). I can't pull the money out of the atm, I can't use my card for a purchase that large, and when I got off work at 5:00 all of the locations were closed for me to make a withdrawal. I am appalled at the inconvenience. I absolutely cannot wait to close my account.Oh! But when I called, my option was to submit another application, take a hit on my credit, and "hope" I am granted less restrictions. What's another ding on my credit at this point, huh CEFCU?
