So far my experience at Brookridge heights has been amazing. I scheduled viewings with Logan Grady who not only has been very patient but also accommodating and helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend Brookridge heights and also working with Logan, she will do her best to make sure all your needs are met.

The good:
- quiet area
- pretty safe
- pool, hot tub, and gym are nice
- car wash is a huge plus
The bad:
- the apartments are constructed very poorly. There is nearly zero insulation which becomes extremely noticeable in the winter. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing.
- my apartment had a pretty bad silverfish problem even with them spraying for bugs routinely. One of the last straws before I decided to move out was when a silverfish fell from the ceiling onto my face while I was sleeping.
- the HVAC systems are extremely loud, and frankly, total junk. My system sounded like an airplane taking off and I was forced to sleep with ear plugs every night. It also died on me numerous times during spring/summer, and would only blow hot air. They kept doing shoddy work to fix it and it never permanently fixed the problem. They also had only one air vent in the bedroom, and every other vent in the living room/kitchen, meaning the bedrooms would barely cool off while the rest of the apartment got very cool.
- maintenance let my fridge completely die and refused to replace it even when it was showing signs of failure. This cost me hundreds of dollars in lost food.
- I had extreme problems with sewer gas. If I didn't dump water from my water heater into the valve every day then my apartment would begin to smell like sewer gas - this was unbearable. It took way too many maintenance calls for them to finally explain to me to dump water into the valves. Even so, having to do this every day meant that coming back from vacation would require me to air my apartment out, febreze, and douse my carpet in carpet refresh powder every single time.
- water pressure was terrible. I had maintenance out several times and there was nothing they could do.
- rent cost was insane for the quality of the buildings.
I lived here for 8 years and the only reason I stayed so long was the uncertainty of staying in the area, the hassle of moving, and friends. Overall there are some definite positives to living here, but the quality of life impact from the apartment units themselves overshadows all of that.
Don't let the "luxury" part of their marketing fool you.

BHA was recommended to me by a friend. I found out on a Sunday morning that I had 30 days to relocate. I reached out to Erin Farney that Monday, by Thursday that week all the paperwork was finalized. The following Monday I had keys in hand. Staff has been very responsive to requests and was very patient with me. The complex is situated at the edge of town making it feel tucked away.

Stayed here for 8 months, and it was a pleasant experience. The neighborhood is nice, the apartment are great, and it's not too far from all the restaurants.

Apartments are old and in need of renovation, insulation is terrible both from the weather and noise.
Building management will get you to empty your pockets when you are leaving with unrealistic charges.
The cleaning of the apartment when you move in leave much to be expected considering you are charged for cleaning when you move in.
My suggestion find an alternative.

It's a great place to live because it's quiet, clean, and safe, with lots of great amenities like a gym, a pool, and so much more. The best part is the big bedrooms that give you plenty of space. It's a bit pricey, but it's a nice place to live.

My wife and I have been living here for almost 2 years and have had an extremely positive experience. Maintenance is usually very quick to respond to requests, office staff is friendly and helps answer questions or concerns that residents have. The apartments are in a safe area and although the rent might be a little expensive for some, it is worth the cost in my personal opinion.

This apartment complex is amazing! The staff in the office are so helpful and friendly. Any issue I have had in my apartment has been taken care of quickly. The grounds are kept very clean, and I always feel safe. I would highly recommend renting from Brookridge Heights. It is definitely the best property in Bloomington!

I’m living here for a year now and I’m absolutely happy with this apartment complex. There are trails around the complex where I can walk or jog and the surroundings are always clean. The apartment maintenance is very prompt in responding to issues if any.
