We bought a brand new GE dryer and it has a problem. Bensons picked up the service ticket and held onto it for over a week. Then missed their appointment and then told us that they were to busy and to call GE back to get someone else to do the repair

Do not Recommend-In an effort to support local businesses. They have been serving the same issue for our dishwasher for the last 2 years. 300 to 400 dollars later it still has not been fixed. Each time they came it out it’s a different issue. Their customer service is not very friendly or helpful to accommodate their customers concerns. Pleasing you pleases us is a false statement - they don’t stand by their advertisement

They came out to repair a code on my Maytag dryer and charged me 250. When that didn't fix it the tech came out and said he'd call me back that he needed to do research. I've called the store over and over and Benson's has ghosted us. Terrible company. Will never recommend or return.

Benson’s service is amazing! I called one morning because our freezer wasn’t working properly. I was desperate to get it taken care or because we had a ton of meat in the freezer I was worried would go bad. They were at the house an hour (at most) later and diagnosed the problem. We had to order a new control panel so we’d have to wait a couple weeks for it to be in. BENSONS LENT US A FREEZER to make sure we were taken care of in the mean time. Their service is phenomenal. Would recommend.

Bought expensive dishwasher. After removing existing unit, Benson installer informed us that the new dishwasher would not fit b/c we remodeled with tile floor. Benson did not inform us that other brands would fit therefore we contracted to remove tiles so that the new dishwasher could be installed. Benson's installer apparently broke the unit during installation, which we discovered some 10 days later b/c of water damage below. By this time, the tiles had been replaced ($628 for removal and replacement). Bensons refused to take any responsibility and furthermore intended to charge us a service/labor charge to remove the leaking dishwasher. We are left sitting some $2000 in the hole plus significant water damage to our house with no working dishwasher and Bensons have left us high but not dry. This is unacceptable business practice!

I always try to go to a local business before ordering online. I have purchased appliance parts from Benson's on various occasions and they were friendly and the prices were as good, if not better than what I could get the parts for online. My dishwasher broke so I went to Benson's to order the parts, as has been my usual custom. When I picked up my parts, I thought the price seemed high for what I was getting (shame on me for not asking when I ordered them). I checked online and, sure enough, I could have got them for half of what I paid for online. And then, to top it all off, I got a call from the store the next day saying that I had actually been undercharged, and that I needed to go back to the store to pay them an extra thirteen dollars!I understand that local businesses have higher overhead and may need to charge more, and I can live with that. But double the price of online is excessive. I called another parts business in town and their quoted price was 40% less than Benson's, and they could get me the parts the next day (Benson's took about a week). And then, to top it off, after I'm already a little irritated at being overcharged, to get a call saying that I needed to come in and pay a whopping thirteen dollars extra?!? That was too much.Something has happened at Benson's. I don't know if it's new management, ownership, or what, but it's definitely not the same.

Beyond horrible. I'm so glad we just knew that Russ was wrong, didn't care or even look. Thank God we got a second opinion. He told us to throw out a 2 year old $3500 fridge. We found out it just needed a cheap part and it's now fixed. He also put a part on incorrectly on our dishwasher and forgot to put the kick plate back on. Sorry guys, don't use them.

My appointment was supposed to be on a Thursday however got a call around noon asking if he could come Friday instead as "he was on the other side of town and didn't want to come over to my side". When he came on Friday he spent minimal time diagnosing problem, ignored what I told him, and said my issue was I was using too much laundry detergent and it was causing the machine to stop during a cycle. I asked him to run a full cycle without detergent to double check his diagnosis and he said he didn't have time. After he left, I ran a full cycle without detergent and it stopped 10 minutes in. I called bensons and talked to the repairman and he said "he would have to do some research and call me back". That was 10 days ago and nothing. I hired another company and they diagnosed and fixed in a half hour.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Covid has caused issues for many companies but this is not this issue. Bensons was hired to fix our dryer. They wouldn't come out when we first called bc "they knew what the problem was and ordered parts to fix it in one trip" aka they were to lazy to come out and verify the issue real quick which was the first red flag. Finally get the guy to show up a week later and what do you know it wasn't the issue and now they need to order more parts (had no problem collecting the money tho) so we wait 5 more days for him to come back. Wrong parts again bc apparently that are incapable of diagnosing a problem and just guess what parts they need so now he says we need to replace the dryer completely and was going to call the home warranty "right away" to get that process started. Now it's been 3 days and they have yet to call home warranty and we have called multiple times asking and they keep saying "we will leave a note for him to call them" bc they're incapable of calling the service tech and figuring out what is going on and why he is continuously dropping the ball and screwing over the customers. No they just want to keep saying sorry they will leave a note. Now after my frustration and asking why they can't make this a priority and get ahold of this guy I get told I can hire another company instead of them not being lazy and making one phone call. Absolutely pathetic!! Never ever hire this company for anything!! Honestly after this experience idk how they are even still in business but yeah hire any other company before considering this company.

I recently bought a new refrigerator from Bensons Appliance. I called and asked Bruce questions about what I was looking for.He was very patient and knowledgeable. He made the buying process so easy as I bought it over the phone and he mailed the papers to me. If you're looking for a new appliance call Bruce for the best customer service!
