Had a great experience with Sean Case. Was not looking forward to stopping in because of a terrible experience I had at another dealership in town. Sean was awesome. Super kind, down-to-earth, found me a vehicle that closely matched my feature wishlist, did not draw out the process or pressure me into purchasing. Was actually fun. I ended up not loving the car, but I wish I had, because I would buy from Sean. Recommend working with him to anyone who dislikes car buying.

This place is a joke, stay as far away as possible. It all started about a year ago when my vehicle started giving me a warning light about once a month then would turn off. The light would say service stabilitrack and the car wouldn't drive right. We thought this was really weird and didn't know why this would happen. My wife has been running a repair shop for 15 years so we aren't clueless when it comes to vehicle repairs. We were thinking about selling the car then we received a recall letter in the mail saying the toe nut has been recalled and needs replaced immediately but they don't have the parts. I spoke with Shane and he told me the warning light (service stabilitrack) had nothing to do with the recall on the toe nut even though it CLEARLY says so on the recall. I grew tired of getting the run around with Shane so I called GM. They told me that the vehicle was dangerous and sent a tow truck to pick it up and take it to Barker. Shane then called and said they couldn't find anything wrong and I could come pick up my vehicle after paying the diagnostic fee!!! I couldn't believe it. So not only did they do nothing to fix my car, they wanted paid for it!! Then Shane told me to just drive it because people are doing it all the time and probably only a couple of cars had issues and actually lost control!! Like I'm supposed to say ok Shane here's your money for nothing and I'll just put my 2 year old back in this car that might be safe!!! Whatever.. This used to be a reputable dealership back in the day, but I wouldn't recommend for a tire rotation. Another thing.... My car has automatic mirrors and I don't think the "mechanic" knew how to operate them. When I picked up my car only one mirror was folded out and when I pushed the button to unfold the mirrors the driver side was already open and made a horrible click noise. Which only can happen if a mirror is manually forced without pushing the button. Just another thing they can't get right over there. Just stay away. Theres plenty of other reputable car dealers that care about their customers and their safety.

My vehicle had a recall for transmission codes going off. I took my vehicle in to find out if I needed a new part for the recall and they told me it would cost 120 for diagnostic tests if the recall code is not flagged. When I asked how could I tell which code is the correct one they said well you have to have the diagnostics ran. Makes absolutely no sense. I would recommend finding a better customer service oriented dealership. Seems like Barker doesn't care for their customers.

It's no secret that buying a car can be a complete pain in the ass with all the back and forth, waiting to hear from banks and so on. I can say with all honesty that my recent experience with barker was nothing short of excellent. Between Scotty and Matt the whole process was quick, simple and actually enjoyable. You will not meet a more down to earth, less pushy and friendlier sales team than these two.

Usually have a great experience, this time was slightly different. They had called about replacing my air filters, I missed the call and got busy, so I forgot to call back. This is frustrating because when my wife went to pick up our vehicle, it was still taken apart waiting for me to call back about the air filters. I had dropped it off at 7 am and picked up at 4:30 pm. To think that my car was sitting around unfinished all day is a little concerning. I understand I didn't call back, but my wife ended up waiting around 30 minutes for them to put everything back together and the technician was less than polite to her when explaining the air filter situation. Given the long history of good service I have had at Barker, I will return and continue to give them my business and hope this was just an isolated incident

I brought my car in to have the door lock actuator replaced and the parking brake fixed. After I got the car back, the parking brake still did not work. The door lock actuator worked for 2 days and then stopped working again.

Was interested in purchasing a very low mile Corvette. Kori the sales rep was very good at answering my questions, unfortunately that's all of the positive. The car was advertised as "Superb Condition" with less than 11k miles. After a week of emails, texts and requesting the inspection report I get "hold on" there's a problems with the car. 3 bald tires, ripped up CV boot and a possibly leaky oil pan. Nearly $3000 in repairs and the dealer was not willing to fix it or at least discount the car further. Complete waste of my time!

I took my vehicle there for routine warranty service. It was a bad experience. My car was purchased at a dealership an hour away because I used to work in that area. So perhaps thats why I am unimportant to them. But I think they get paid for doing the work even if I didn't purchase there? So they succeeded in making sure I do not ever return there to service my current vehicle nor to purchase another. I made an appointment with Troy & Jordy was my service person. Those 2 are wonderful - too bad they are not working elsewhere. When I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early I said I needed the courtesy shuttle to be at work. I watched on the service techs try to hand a key to the courtesy driver only to have the driver take the key & toss it on the counter giving the tech a very dirty look. Then while I was waiting to be checked in the driver took off with 1 person needing a ride to work without asking the other 8 people in the room if anyone else needed a ride, which is what I had always seen done in other dealerships. He was gone 40 minutes! I had to call my husband to take me to work & I was still late. Right before my husband arrived he returned & asked if I was ready & I said my husband was coming - he shrugged his shoulders & walked away. Later in the day I spoke to Troy of my disappointment. He felt I should talk to Pete, the service manager & said he would have Pete call me. I even called again for Pete - no call back. So my business must not be important to Pete. Its unfortunate because I love my vehicle & they are the only ones in the immediate area that carry the brand so I will need to either continue to give business to a dealership an hour away or choose another brand.

Of course never did receive the items that were promised and when I called again they were as rude as can be.

March 2014, I had my car towed in to have diesel gas removed that my teenage son put in by mistake. My first encounter was pleasant until the issue was no longer their priority. 9 months later the issue remains unresolved after 3 return fixes and $1,100 in the hole later. I will never take my car or even a non-working car to this dealership ever. They are non-proactive in resolution and will never see my money again. I hope that GM sees opportunity to establish proper training, leadership and guidance on how to exceed expectations and understand how to under promise and over deliver, really soon. Or better yet, give another person a better opportunity to show appreciation than what I've received.

Took my used Buick there and told them it over heated, my dad told them he thought it was the thermostat. They checked everything else and came up with $1500 dollars worth of other repairs that were needed but did nothing about the overheating. My mom then took it out on the interstate and got stranded because, you guessed it, the thermostat was bad and the car overheated!

Bought a used car in Nov 2012, the transmission went out and thank goodness we bought and extended warranty. I was told at the time if we bought the warranty and the car needed work that they would waive the deductible by Rob. Get the phone call to pick up the car and that we owe the deductible and that they never told us that they would waive. I guess they just lie to the customer so they bring the vehicles to them. I guess they don't want our business anymore as we will no longer shop with them.

Dick Meads from Barker came through and made this right. I now have 2 working keys and am completely satisfied. If you go to this dealer, just don't work with Brian Brown. If you do, double check everything he tells you.

Worked with a salesman that was able to come down on a used BMW making it the best deal in town. I tried to push it a little lower, but couldn't get it there. I do like my car quite a bit though.
