“I've enjoyed this bank as I was introduced to it thru my husband whom established an account with them before our relationship in which we now have a shared account,individual accounts,accounts for our kids and more. We've never needed an appointment for anything when it comes to opening new accounts, getting cashier checks, questions, etc. Now we do usually go in the early mornings so that probably does help usually around 8-9 they aren't usually too busy at most I've seen 4 ppl inside and maybe one in the drive thru at the time. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I will say they are talkers here but I think it adds to the charm in the end. I will say there are some fees with checking accounts that I don't agree on say with if you aren't having at least 700 deposited or a balance of at least 1400 they charge you a monthly banking fee. If you have a steady job I think that would be fine but for my son who gets SSI that to me takes away from his money which I'm not keen on since he can't control if that amount is available based on the monthly amount fluctuating and his needs. Outside of that thou we love our bank and have def made it our home for all of our family even my Mother in law has an account with them as well.”

“Eric Armstrong @ Busey Bank was my savior, literally! While this wasn’t a mortgage, it was a HELOC. With that said, Eric’s great service will make him my first call when I need a mortgage. I walked into local Busey branch and they helped me submit my app. Unfortunately, it was sent to Chicago area to be handled. After 3 weeks of frustration and poor communication, with no end in sight, I gave up and withdrew my application. I decided Busey needed to hear my feedback. I found Eric Armstrong’s name and number and left a vmail. Within minutes, he called me back and offered to sit down with me. Within 15 minutes, I was sitting in his office! He listened, made some calls, explained whole process, answered all the questions I had, and said that Busey would hate to lose a 30 year customer. I agreed to resubmit app and with 10 days, it was approved! Eric called me regularly to update me and explained to me what specifically he needed and WHY. Eric was a true blessing and will always have my business!”
