I rented a car on Mar-10 at 830 pm. I booked it at the counter. They gave me a Subaru with 55000 miles. The problem with the car was it was dirty inside and out. It has sand on and all around in the car. Not vacuumed. It was parked in dark, so I cannot see inside it. Please see attached pictures.I got it cleaned at my cost and when returning to Chicago they told me I needed to call the customer service number to complain about it.Shamful and poor service.

Have a rental that appeared to have been detailed. The front had a paper down on the mats on the driver side. The vehicle smelled of wet dog. We picked up family for dinner. My sister in law noticed damage on both backseat window ledges where a dog had obviously punctured the material with its nails. When we put the 2nd row seat down for people to get in 3rd row, the back of the 2nd row was covered in dog hair. This vehicle should not have been rented in this condition. We flew in from out of state. We got in right before Avis closed on Thursday. Damage wasn’t noticed until Saturday night when the back was used. We better not be charged for something someone else did. Thankfully we aren’t allergic to dogs because this thing is a doozy! Whomever let their big dog (s) in there should have been charged a ton of money and shame on Avis for the lack of thorough detailing. It is now Sunday and we leave Monday. So, we will be heading to Avis to show them today if we have time…Be on the lookout if you rent a gray Dodge Durango!

I booked a car that had existing damage. Person at the counter told me it was recorded and that I wouldn't have to worry about it. Fast forward a week and now they charge my credit card $2,000for something I didn't do. This location needs new management

Mohammad the manager is a liar and a crook. I returned the rental I got 3 days early and this bum charged me 450 for pet hair for a car that was dirty and smelled like cigarettes when I got it. I called him about the charge and he said " I just looked at your car and its filled with dog hair" . I said " ok, I'm coming to look at the car and see what you're talking about". Mohammad said " actually, the car is clean". Mohammad is a liar and a thief

Paperwork and keys weren’t ready when I arrived and I was “upgraded” to a car with 72,000 miles that wreaked of cigarette smoke and had material peeling off the steering wheel.

Bloomington, IL, Regional Airport. Reservation, check-out, and check-in all were very easy. I have had two very bad experiences with Avis in the past, but decided to give them another try. This time I had a very fine vehicle and I was very pleased. I think success or failure may have a lot to do with the rental location.

I returned the car FULL of fuel . Handed the key to the guy working the counter, he said he would “take care of it” and I walked off. They charged me $49 for fuel on my receipt. I don’t think so, Bro. I’ll call Avis and have them refund me, or call my credit card and have them void the charge from your attempt at scamming. Nice try.

Fantastic service from Avis among all other competitors. Front desk person (Sandeep Mandadi) was very patient and Handed over rental car keys with all paperwork in minutes.Car was very clean & non smoked as promised!!Thank you Avis.
